“That Chevy Impala driving through Halden... real Norway”
The view of the fort. Fridge. Windows that open to provide fresh air. Lovely simple furniture set-up. Norway has a very peculiar global perception, land of the Vikings, perfect society. My family are from the area around Halden. I'd never stayed here privately. This is definitely the most authentic Norwegian experience I have had in 6 decades, especially the Irish-ish pub. This stay afforded me the opportunity to experience Halden as a visitor, not tourist. I liked it so much I stayed another 2 nights.

The hotel is well located in the center of Halden, close to every commodity. It was spacious enough and comfortable. The person who welcomed me was very nice and explained everything well. I recommand !

The studio was very clean and a decent size for 2 people. It was in the centrum and we were able to park in front of the proberty.

“Staffless hotel”
I was booking the wrong date and when i tried to contract the staff they didn't answer in mail or phone and i was trying several times. So I decided not to go there and was booking somewhere else.

No separate fire-exit. Carpet betle found in the bath-room. Need to have all my clouths put in the deep-freezer for 4 days after the stay.

“Halden short stop”
Friendly staff at an unusual Pub (O'Brian Pub)where you check in and collect the keys. Lift to the 3rd floor then steps up 1 floor. Nice kitchen area with cook top and microwave.
