“Nice and cozy hotel”
Really good hotel - good location, free parking, great breakfast and dinner, there is even afternoon tea/coffe with cakes, it has gym and sauna as well. Premises are cozy, staff was very nice. Totally recommend

Very great reception by receptionist- Nice room, nice dinner included, I had special request for food, absolutely no problem! Good nights sleep , waking up to a GREAT breakfast , all in all great value for money!!!

“Spacious Room with Great Views and Excellent Dining”
My stay was very enjoyable. The room was spacious with amazing views, and the dinner options were both spectacular and generally healthy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the gym facilities were decent. While I would have appreciated a location closer to the train station, the central spot was convenient overall.

“Half pension for a reasonable price in Halden”
The hotel is well located, it takes a 15 minute walk to the main street of Halden. In addition to the good breakfast the price every day included a tasty dinner, as well.

“Halden Hygge.”
The hotel staff were kind, friendly, and accommodating. With a friendly welcome, we were given our room ahead of time on our arrival. The homey decor, comfortable couches, and decor was instantly welcoming exuding hygge. The generous and delicious home cooked breakfast, fikka, and dinner complete the experience. Thank you so much for a memorable stay in Halden.

Overall, the hotel provided reasonably comfortable accommodations and amenities, was quite, location is 20 minutes from train station of foot, however the lack of diversity representation and sustainability efforts in its dining offerings was disappointing (see bellow).
