“A really pleasant stay in an old-worldy atmosphere”
Most of the rooms here are arranged around a quiet and elegant central courtyard, so you have the feeling that you're in a little world of your own. My room (the double with balcony) was great - nice decor, quite cosy, and with everything I needed. Check-in was easy and the staff were helpful. When I discovered that the kettle in the room wasn't working, they replaced it for me while I was out, with no fuss. Since Halberstadt is quite small, everything was walking distance (except the train station).

“Excellent location, lovely traditional hotel”
Lovely traditional hotel with friendly staff. Parking is a bonus with everything within easy walking distance. John Cage project 10 mins, Halberstadt is a wonderful historic place. Make sure you know it's history to appreciate it more.

Quiet neighborhood, comfortable bed, nice staff. It's a pity there was no fridge and air conditioning in the room. Very good and plentiful breakfast.
