Staying in a traditional Japanese house with the sliding doors and the urinal in the bathroom. Very close to a restaurant and supermarket. Also a nice place for coffee and breakfast is Cafe and Tokidoki Bar nearby.

Incredible traditional house, it was like a dream, a jump in time. A bit cold in winter but the (big) room was warm, extra soft blanket, comfortable futon. Just like in the pictures.

Truly a unique authentic traditional Japanese experience with tatami and garden. The host was extremely helpful despite speaking no English. While the place was out of the way from the main city of Kanazawa, the trade off was a quiet suburban neighbourhood of Japan, very close to a supermarket and an amazing sushi restaurant called Nishikawaya we had 12 freshly made nigiri for a very reasonable price.

“Traditional House”

A really nice traditional style house, cute, quite spacious and in a lovely neighborhood. We used it as a base for our five day Ishikawa/Fukui adventure, as it was in a perfect location for daily road trips all around! There is a supermarket really close by, and a train station that makes it quite convenient for those who don't have a car. It would be more convenient if there was an actual kitchen, not just a fridge and a microwave, but for this price, I think that was quite sufficient.

Very appropriate for families, huge space! We love that the rooms have views of a small private garden. We definitely recommend it.

The is a great house that full of Japanese culture.The location is very good . It takes us 3min to walk to the supermarket. We could shop quickly before it closed.
