The beds were super comfy and the shower facilities were great. Was amazing to have the continental breakfast before heading out to the slopes (would be fantastic if a hot breakfast was included/an option)

“Good base for exploring Hakuba valley”
Good base for exploring the whole valley, bus stops are very close. As for the hostel, plenty of space for luggage, even if you have big suitcase and skibag. Also, station pick up and drop off was very helpful.

“Loved it-Welcoming lounge, fireplace, comfy beds, friendly staff, central location for buses”
Beds were comfy n warm. Open space lounge with communal tables and sofas made it a very welcoming place. Breakfast was simple and tasty. Good selection of pastries, muffins, toast, cheese, yoghurt and fruit. A mini oven, microwave, kettle with tea and coffee available in the lounge made the place more comfortable; like a home away from home. Staff were always friendly. The pick up service from the Hakuba St on check in day was very appreciated!! The Joint is also very centrally located to a convenience store, and all the buses that pass Echoland.

The joint Echoland Hakuba is very central to all dining bars and food… Also very close to Hoppoone.. I myself walked there when there’s a free shuttle bus.. Very beautiful the Japanese Alps!! Love Hakuba..
