“Homey stay”

Very homey and nice stay. The owner Dan is passionate about snowboarding and gives you the ins and outs about where to go and when to go! We also loved the hot tub on the balcony, a great way to relax after a tiring day at the slopes

Dan, Mya and Nicole are just amazing. So friendly and helpful with how to get around and the accommodation is perfect for a trip to Hakuba. Delicious, fresh breakfast every day, hot onsens and spaces to hang out and socialise. 10/10 recommend, we can't wait to go back!

Close to Echo land and transport. The staff gave us a lift to the slopes in the morning and were super helpful explaining the easiest ways back. Breakfast was a winner and spa’s at the accomodation are an awesome addition. Staff were lovely and easy to communicate with, they all went the extra mile wherever they could to help

Dan was such an amazing host before we even got there and right until the end. We had issues with our bag delivery and Dan helped assist from the start and let us have our ski bags delivered earlier than our booking. He had amazing recommendations all throughout the trip. Drove everyone to their desired ski sites every morning after a freshly cooked breakfast. There were in-house massages which were amazing and a perfect way to unwind after skiing all day. At the end of the trip, he also helped us to black cat to send our bags off again and translated the whole time for us. Deeply appreciate the service and him and his family for running the lodge so smoothly!

It was super clean and super tidy, all the spaces were tidy and roomy. The breakfasts were incredible and super yummy and within a reasonable time frame in the mornings. Excellent drop offs and pick ups!

It had everything that you needed. The staff had a great community, other guests were great to talk to and have a beer with. The 'drop off wherever' system was so good. The staff can drop you at any of the resorts in the morning, then you make your own way back. One of the rooms has its own spa-onsen on the deck.

“Everything was perfect”

I couldn’t have stayed in a better place. Dan and his family are incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was huge, with its own onsen that you can set to whatever temperature you like. The breakfasts were amazing. Dan takes you to the mountain of your choice early in the morning, and the bus stop is just 100 meters from the house. Echoland and all its restaurants are only a 5-minute walk away. Without a doubt, if I come back, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you for everything!!!

“Perfect!”

Absolutely recommend it! Great location , it is only a short walk to the Main Street. Staff was really welcoming and offered lifts to the slopes when possible, very handy! The accommodation has everything you need !

This was the best feeling of home you’ll get, own private onsen.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful. They provided lifts to and from stations and ski fields. They put on a great Christmas dinner, and daily breakfasts. They provided great advice about the local area, ski fields and restaurants, along with snowboarding tip and tricks. There is an in house massage service which was also amazing.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Snowhere Ski Lodge! Dan and his wonderful family went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of our trip. The lodge itself is spotless, spacious, in a great location, and very reasonably priced. During our stay, my partner had a skiing accident, and we couldn’t have been in better hands. The incredible team at Snowhere Ski Lodge immediately helped us get to the hospital, assisted with translations, and even checked in on us days later to make sure everything was okay. Their kindness and support made such a difference! Looking back on our Japan trip, our time at Snowhere Ski Lodge was by far the highlight. It’s the perfect place for anyone visiting Hakuba for skiing—you’ll meet fellow snow lovers, share great conversations, and truly make the most of your experience. Breakfast was prepared by Dan each morning and it was great! 10/10 for the whole experience.

“Relaxing Stay”

Hard to fault this place. Beds comfortable. Rooms spacious. Solid breakfast. Staff friendly and accomodating. Free lift to ski fields in the morning from staff. Bath on balcony was nice touch and good way to end a long day on the slopes. Location is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the ski resort. If your not planning to head to the 'Echoland' main strip in the evenings for food and drinks (which is 10-15 minute walk) then keep in mind buses to and from other locations e.g. Happo-One are infrequent. Would recommend either renting a vehicle or staying closer to those locations if you plan on spending a lot of time there.

Very nice place, clean and well managed by an awesome team, welcoming and helpful. The private hot tub on our balcony and the bigger one on the 1st floor we were able to access were perfect to relax after a day out in the snow. Breakfast was good. Definitely a good accommodation in Hakuba, close to Haluba 47 / Goryu, Echoland, Happo.
