Amazing stay. Yuji & his beautiful wife welcomed us, and let us pat there cute dogs many times. All the bedrooms are upstairs, with Japanese style bathrooms and hot tubs downstairs. There is a drying room to store snow gear and a massage chair for after a long day on the slopes. There is a bus stop less than 200m away out the front or it is a 10minute walk into the main part of echoland. We will be staying here again when we return to Hakuba.

Location was great as the shuttle buses run by the various slopes had bus stops a very short walk from the site. Also walking distance to a large 7-11 in case you wanted to prepare your own breakfast/meals. The couple that runs it were no-frills, straight-talking and down-to-earth. The best surprise was the hot bath they prepare, which was such a treat after a day on the slopes! Was never busy and it was so spacious. The facility is a little dated but I liked the small touches like a bird-feeding table that we can observe during breakfast and the massage chair!

The location was walking distance to the Echoland main strip. Good facilities at the hotel. Everything was clean. The owner was kind enough to drop us at the bus station in the morning after our stay which was really helpful. Great stay for the money. Would definitely stay there again

“Short stay”
The male owner was nice and tried to make it work by opening up the shower room for me at night and in the morning. He made the stay pleasant enough. The location of the house and surroundings are beautiful and skiing in the area is great after all.

My second time staying! The hosts are so kind and treat you and your pets like family. I will definitely come back. The facilities are clean and comfortable. It is a beautiful, quiet neighborhood that is only a short drive to ski slopes and the middle of town. There are also restaurants in walking distance.
