Cozy, clean, and comfy. The owners were friendly, energetic, and hospitable, going out of their way to help us out when we needed. It felt almost like we were visiting welcoming relatives. The fresh breakfast was very nice too, with lovely homemade bread.

Cannot thank the owner enough for his hospitality. He was so lovely and kind despite a language barrier and wanted us to have the best experience he took any opportunity to do that. Just note when booking that while you can have a basic interaction it is best to brush up on some Japanese before staying here to help you explain or ask anything. The free onsen experience was absolutely beautiful and was so well needed after a long day of travelling. Rooms were nice and the whole place was tidy and warm. You must note that there are not individual showers in rooms so not ideal if you are keen on immediately jumping in the shower. I would definitely recommend staying here

A lovely, well kept chalet run by a kind and hospitable couple. Amazing features, very clean and we loved the outdoor onsen that you can book out. The host went above and beyond to accommodate everything we needed. A greeting with green tea by the fire was a lovely touch after a long day of skiing.

“Loved it, would stay here again.”
We stayed 8 nights and were happy to return home to the onsen and outstanding hosts each night. What a gem! Highly recommend the breakfasts, and took away a jar of homemade apple jam. Yoshi helped us with advice on buses. The free bus service across the road is gold. Easy walk to restaurants in Echoland. Some of the best are within a few minutes reach.

It’s a place that makes you feel like home. Because not only the host is hospitable but also the place is cozy, breakfast is tasty, and hot spring is super! And the nearest free shuttle bus stop “Alpine Chalet” is 1 min away. If you like to stay in the wooden house surrounded by forest, this will be your best choice.
