“Perfect for us!”

We loved pension agi. Well priced comfortable accommodation in a great location. Walking distance to happo one as well as the restaurants, bars and facilities in echo land. We were just a few doors away from spicy rental where we hired our ski gear, and two equally close options for shuttle buses that could take us to any of the slopes in Hakuba. Our host at pension agi was lovely. He was very informative, offered train station pick up and drop off and gave us advice for navigating the local area. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty. They kept us well sustained for a day on the slopes. Each mornings meal was different with some typical western style food and some Japanese food. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom. I was worried it would be too small but it was fine - we were very comfortable with plenty of room for our ski attire our luggage and us. We enjoyed our 6 night stay at pension agi.

“Amazing”

loved the location very central and walking distance to everything in echoland, the owner was very welcoming, and easy to get along with, we were in and out of the room constantly, after a big day on the slopes we would come back to a clean room, which was above expectations. we texted him that we would be arriving early, and he offered to come and pick us up, and then offered to take us back to the station on completion of our stay. would highly reccomend to all friends

The location was fantastic, very close to restaurants in the evening, and super close to the bus stops to access the wider valley and ski areas. The breakfast was enough to charge me for a day on the mountains. The host was very helpful, providing information regarding the wider area, bus times, best ski slopes. He also very kindly collected from and returned me to Hakuba bus terminal, making my travel seamless.

“Cosy and convenient stay in Hakuba”

Excellent location to restaurants. The host was very kind - I stored my luggage prior to check in and they carried it up the stairs to my room; He also sent me to the bus stop upon checking out when I couldn't get an Uber. The house was extremely clean and quiet - I barely saw other guests.

Close to bars/restos, parking, microwave, fridge. Quiet.

Nice, cozy room with good heater. Great location in Echoland, close to restaurants, bars, convenience stores and in walking distance to Happo One Ski Resort (~20min walk). Super nice host, picked us up and drop us off at the train station.

I heard through my partner that other Pensions had owners who would come and pick you up from the local station and/or drop you off. Since when we got there, there was pretty heavy snow, this kind of service would have been quite nice and appreciated.

Hosts were super friendly and helpful , in a great location in echoland. Right near the bus stop and also just a street behind the shops

Comfortable + great location

We recently spent a week at Pension Agi, and our experience was nothing short of wonderful! The hosts are incredibly kind and generous, ensuring that we felt comfortable throughout our stay. When we found ourselves in need of a ride to the bus stop with all our luggage, they graciously offered to drive us, which was a huge help. Although we chose to explore local dining options, they went out of their way to surprise us with hot coffee one morning and a lovely Valentine’s Day treat. They even packed us an apple snack for our bus ride back to Tokyo! The rooms are well-sized and perfectly suited for two guests. We highly recommend this pension! Additionally, we felt completely safe and appreciated the ample space provided to store our skis and boots.

We loved our stay at Pension Agi. Our hosts were lovely, breakfast was fantastic (different every day), our simple room was warm and comfortable and the location is great for ski buses and restaurants in Echoland, with Happo just a 15min walk away. Quiet location also a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

The accommodation is exactly what you want for a skiing holiday. Everything is neat and clean. The people were extremely nice. They picked us up when we arrived and brought us to the station once we left. The breakfast is also amazing and perfect for a good day of skiing. Regarding the location, it is situated in Echoland with lots of nice shops and restaurants closeby. It is about a 15 minute walk to Happo one and there is a bus station around the corner if you would like to visit the other ski resorts in the Hakuba valley. So, I would highly recommend this accommodation.

First of all, the owner Mori-san is extremely helpful and very accomodating to my requests. Secondly, the location is close to the busy street at Echoland where you can find many restaurants. Also it is about 5 minutes walk to Hakuba Valley shuttle bus stop
