Mountain Side Hakuba offers views of the mountains and the ski slopes during the winter season. The property is just a 3-minute walk away from a local ski and snowboard shop. The Happo-One Winter Resort Kokusai lift 1 is within a minute's stroll. JR Hakuba Station is a 10-minute drive. The apartment features carpeted and heated floors, fireplace and hot tub. The apartment is furnished with a TV with cable channels, washing machine and dryer. A hairdryer, slippers and free toiletries are included in the en suite bathrooms. Guests can rent a bicycle from the property to explore the nearby areas during the warmer seasons. The alps view from the apartment was great. The apartment is well appointed with almost everything to make a comfortable stay. The staff was really polite and helpful, even assisted to make reservations for dinner place upon inquiring.

“Wonderful and memorable”
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice area but low season so many places close. Need a car to get by. Will be good during high and ski season because of proximity to the gondola and ski lifts. Love the apartment layout.

Mountain Side had everything you could need. From amazing customer service to all the facilities. The complimentary shuttle was also great. The location was great - ski in and out.

“Modern and Luxury in Hakuba with Door to Ski Accessibility (in Winter)”
There's no shortage of accomodation at Hukuba. However you will struggle to find any as new, modern, and luxurious as Mountain Side. The apartment was huge, comfortable heating/cooling, great Wifi, and well equiped. I was even impressed with the TV having Apple TV functionality so I can stream tv/movies from my apple devices. The view is amazing, you felt like you were in a secluded mountain resort! The staff were very friendly, spoke good English, and always happy to accomodate our needs, including dropping us off into the town or one of the ski lifts. There is a dry room on the bottom floor for all of our ski gear. If you're planning on going up Happo-One, there is a chair lift literally across the road. We used Rhythm Ski Hire which is a 5min walk away to rent our gear.
