“Great cottage, great host and great location”

The cottage was nice with traditional feel. It has cooking utensils, microwave, a small grill, heated carpet for dining, fridge and a tv. The main building (just right across the cottage) has drying room for your gear, washing machine and a dryer (500 yen each) and bath area (we didnt use the bath area though) The beds were on top of a tatami and were comfortable. The location is perfect as it is very close to the free shuttles to resorts like goryu, happo one, tsugaike and iwatake. The host was nice and accomodating with your needs as well.

“Convenient location for skiing”

Self contained hut, I wish the toilet would be more comfortable. When it's very cold the taps freeze and there is no water first in the morning. Happened twice to us.

The common areas are cleaned every day, everything was super clean, very convenient location to the connivence store and shuttle buses to the slopes.

It was ideal for what we needed, i.e., one night in the snow resort before moving onto our accommodation for the week

“Pleasant and warm”

The owner was delightful, very friendly and helpful. The accommodation had a family-run feel to it and was next to nearby restaurants, cafes and the shuttle bus to the ski resort. It had a shared toilet and shower which was very clean and we never had to wait to use it. The owner kindly picked us up from Hakuba station on a moment's notice when we were stranded (as taxis were fully booked) though bear in mind that the phone number wasn't connecting so we contacted them via their Facebook page. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!

Great host, great location and an exceptional snow season

Cozo rooms, comfy beds, clean bathroom facilities, and in floor heat in the rooms. Breakfasts were good value as well. Mix of eggs, a protein/meat, fruit, and small salad. Also a great location in town and walking distance to bars and restaurants.

Perfect location for use of the free shuttle and close to plenty of great restaurants and bars in Echoland. Rooms were super comfortable and clean. The hosts were really welcoming and kind and provided a great breakfast. We would 100% stay here again.
