Overview
A 10-minute walk from Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort, Inn Wataboshi offers simple Western-style accommodations with warm wood furnishings. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, a 10-minute drive away, and from JR Kamishiro Train Station, which is also a 10-minute walk away. Guests must reserve the free shuttle at time of booking. The rooms feature heating facilities, carpeted floors, Western beds and a TV. Some rooms feature an en suite bathroom, while some shared bathroom facilities. Luggage storage and photocopying services are offered at the front desk. Ski storage is on site and free parking is available. A Western meal with homemade bread is served for breakfast at the dining room. Wataboshi Inn is a 15-minute drive from Hakuba Happoone Ski Resort and a 10-minute drive from Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park Ski Resort. JR Nagano Train Station is a 1-hour drive away.

“Nice clean and spacious facility with super friendly and helpful staff”
The couple running the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. The inn offered to pick me up from the bus stop as I arrived late in the day. Transfers to and from the ski resort are provided. Room is very spacious and clean.

“Comfortable and cosy place to stay near Goryu&47”
Staying at this guesthouse was overall a great experience. The owners were very nice and have clearly gone to a lot of trouble to make sure a traveller has everything they need here. Everything was very clean, comfortable and cosy. Advantages of the location: the area is charming with lots of trees and there are some good food options around (As a vegetarian I really liked the nearby 'Sprout')

Quiet, Clean and perfect service. The Hosts are very friendly, warmhearted and helpful. The wooden house isn’t soundproof, but almost everyone can keep quiet during me stayed there for 12 nights. Except Once a guy was playing videos next door, since I complained, the host went to deal with it very quickly. So didn’t bother me much. They offer shuttle service from Goryu ski resort and bus/train station, quite convinent for me. Perfect expericence. Thank you.

“Nice, cosy place with access to Hakuba ski resorts”
Friendly staff that offers shuttles to and from Hakuba Goryu Escal Plaza every day, which as at the base of Goryu ski resort. If you don't shuttle, it's only a 15 minute walk to Goryu, I shuttled in the mornings and walked back after skiing. From Hakuba Goryu you can take the shuttle to all the other Hakuba ski resorts.

“First japan trip”
Extremely friendly and helpful owners. Family run. We arrived very late and they kept checking in on our progress. Not great english speakers but we got along fine. Even sold us some beers on arrival ! The shuttle to escal plaze saves a lot of time and effort.

The host are really sweet and thoughtful. The location is not the most convenient but host offer pick up at the nearest station when you arrive. (We didn't know so we walked!)

“Beautiful, cozy stay”
The hosts are extremely lovely and hospitable. They will go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. They offer a shuttle service to Hakuba Goryu. They offer breakfast and dinner (paid) which were delicious. I was even given a lift to the bus station on my last day.

The owners were very accommodating during the stay and made sure that you were welcomed. They even went above and beyond to pick me up at a bus stop that is 20 minutes away, since I couldn't be dropped off in the closest bus stop. Overall the place is really nice and definitely worth the price.

“excellent hosts, quiet, well kept”
Extremely clean and quiet. The hosts were really attentive and provided pick ups and drop offs to the slopes and bus stop. Dinner was excellent too and a good option given the hotel wasn’t that near restaurants in town.

The hosts are super super nice and friendly!!! The house is unique with lots of character. Everything is great. The location is not the most convenient but the host will provide pick up and drop off in designated time, to the nearest ski resort.
