“Trip to Hakuba Valley”

Comfortable rooms with access to the kitchen for making your own meals. We loved the big bath (onsen), which was booked in half hours allotments per room, to use without other guests.

We particularly liked the fresh bread and home made jams at breakfast. Otherwise the setting, atmosphere and staff were lovely.

The Property was stunning! A very unique and Eco-Friendly building. It pair rustic decor with modern facilities and both the property and it’s location were beautiful. Thank you to the family hosts as well, they are very very kind!

“Cosy, clean, has everything you need for a ski holiday!”

Super cosy, warm and clean! The breakfast served each morning was delicious and the facilities were great - washing machine/dryer, a drying room for ski gear, a small kitchenette and a private onsen. The owners Koki & Naomi are the most lovely people - they picked us up and dropped us off to our bus stops at either end of our trip! Would love to stay here again!

Everything was great. Koki and Naomi are excellent hosts. The property is extremely well located for Goryu, with free shuttle pick up and drop off. The house ambience is fantastic, rustic, warm and homely with wood fires in the living areas. Our en-suite room is clean and super comfortable. The complimentary continental breakfast sets us up for skiing till mid afternoon. The big hot bath is a welcome soak every night. There is a kitchen for guests to use, and we cook our dinner every night. There is a laundry with a washing machine, free to use, which is much appreciated by all the guests. This is our second year coming here. And we discovered that many of the guests are returning guests. We are already planning our next trip in 2027. Thank you so much Koki and Naomi.

Il Bosco is lovely. The owner, Koki, was super friendly, and went above and beyond. My wife and I felt very welcome and enjoyed our quiet stay there. Breakfast in the mornings was great and the local bus right outside made it very convenient for getting to the slopes and back for snowboarding. Fireplace is cozy and the room we stayed in was spacious and warm. Will definitely be back.

Delightful in every way. Long to go back in the winter to see Il Bosco buried in snow. The wonderful owners, Naomi and Koki, could not be more hospitable. So helpful and kind. Freshly baked bread at breakfast and great pasta for dinner. I feel very nostalgic about my stay.

Amazing place! I spent around 1.5 month there (probably one of their longest-stayed guest) for the ski season from mid Feb and It felt like a luxurious home. Koki and Naomi were super nice and friendly, and they kept the fireplace going every night so that you always feel the warmth. I invited my friend over to taste the heavenly dinner prepared by the hosts and they even didn't charge me for my dinner nights because of my long stay, which was very generous and sweet of them. The lodge was super well-quipped and so its very good for long stay too. It was hard to leave the beautiful place; would definitely love to return if I have the chance! Thanks a lot for the lovely experience!

“Quaint, fairytale like accomodation in the middle of the forest!”

Overall the place exceeded our expectations. The whole place is spotless and our room is huge and very clean :) What made this place the best among the places we stayed in Japan is "Kiko". He is the caretaker of the place and he made sure that we are taken care of. From making our breakfast every morning and made sure the place are very clean and amazing. There is also a private onsen in which you can enjoy by yourself :) I would highly recommend this place and would stay there again if I return in Hakuba. The only downside is the distance of the bus stop which is around 15-20 mins walk, but Kiko again save us by driving us around. 11/10

Whole stay was wonderful. Comfortable spacious room. On-site onsen bath fabulous after day on slopes. Excellent continental breakfast with homemade bread daily. 2 fireplaces and small lounge areas. Definitely recommend

“Perfect accomodation for skiing in Garyu.”

We are a couple who stayed here for 10 days during a skiing holiday in Goryu, Hakuba. The property which is located in a forest setting within walking distance of Goryu resort is very comfortable with a homely feel. The actual wood fire in the sitting room adds to the warm ambience. Our en-suite and bedroom are clean, warm and cosy. Toiletries and towels are provided. The complimentary continental breakfast includes cereals, homemade bread, jam, fresh baguette, fruit juices, fresh fruits and coffee. There is a fridge and kitchen for self use. The shuttle buses run by Goryu resort pick up and drop off on the doorstep of Bosco. We are coming back.
