The apartment itself is very clean, spacious and well equipped. Because it is already green season, we had to use the side door for entry/exit but the room upon entry (laundry area) smells really bad. It triggered the allergy of one of our companions. Since we will only be staying 1 night, we just had to bear with it. But other than that, our stay was comfortable.

“Excellent service and hospitality from HHG”

I was blown away the amazing staff at HHG. We came at the end of the ski season so the reception finished on the 31st March but when we arrived a couple of days prior, Howard explained everything to us including the WhatsApp chat for support, HHG shuttle service, restaurant recommendations and even booked our ski bags for the Yamato transfer back to Haneda Airport. Even though the reception was unattended after the winter season, the WhatsApp chat made it easy to get support to book shuttles to the other ski resorts or a grocery run to the supermarket. One morning, I needed to do some work and my travel adapter for my laptop did work so I messaged the team on WhatsApp and someone delivered an adaptor within 5 mins. The service is excellent and the 3 bedroom apartment was very comfortable. The location is also excellent as it was only a few mins walk to the Happo Gondola. The service from HHG was exceptional and I would stay at a HHG property again.

We stayed at Happo Apartments for two days in February 2025. It was a ski trip with my family. The apartment is very comfortable and accommodated our group of six perfectly. Everything is spotless and new. The check-in and check-out process was straightforward, as was communication with the staff from before we arrived. An effort was made to offer us a transfer from the train station, which was very convenient. Likewise, the transfer was made available for us to get around Hakuba, making it much easier as we didn't have a car. The apartment is located very close to the Adam Gondola, making it easy to buy the ski lift and access the mountain. It is also conveniently located in the same building as a ski rental, which was great for us as we needed to rent equipment. All the HHG staff were excellent and very helpful, but I would especially like to highlight Luke, who was very willing to help us with anything we needed. We will return to Happo Apartaments on our next trip to Hakuba.

Very spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms, very comfortable beds with warm fluffy quilts. The staff were fantastic and a special thanks to Joe who was so warm and friendly, and assisted us with our many questions. Excellent location next to ski hire, snow parks, restaurants and bars. The view and little village were beautiful. Big thanks also to the shuttle drivers!

Happo Apartments is in a great location only a few minutes walk to the gondola at the Happo One ski runs. The apartment itself was amazing. Comfortable beds, large rooms, great central space for the lounge room and kitchen space, and all the facilities we needed for a family group. Best by far though was the exceptional assistance provided by the staff. Leading up to and throughout our stay, Kanako was really helpful and provided excellent advice on where to ski, what local activities we could do, and the best places to eat. Kanako would go out of her way to make our reservations, which was an absolute must if you want to eat at the smaller boutique restaurants - something that definitely needs to be experienced.

The apartment we got was quite comfortable, stylish, clean and very well located. It was a breeze to check in and out, because they provide free shuttle from and to the train/bus station. Also they provide free transportation to and from anywhere in the village, which was quite useful for us. Warm thanks to all the staff (receptionists and drivers, all very friendly and helpful), but a special appreciation goes to Ms. Kanako, who went out of her way to make sure we made the most of our rather short stay in Hakuba, including getting a table for dinner at the Hybrid, we loved it!
