Hosts went out of the way to help when i had trouble with the vehicle. Very friendly and approachable. House had really good facilities such as a fireplace, automated bathtub, comprehensive laundry room etc It is away from main roads so kids can play safely in the snow outside. Located in a quiet neighbourhood beside the woods, its really a relaxing getaway at the end of a ski day…

“Can't wait to stay again.”
Luke was a great host, he helped book us taxis, drove us to yamato to drop off our gear and to the train station as well as answer any questions we had (including the best place to get pizza). The house was stunning and great for our family group of 8. It was beautiful sitting by the fire watching the snow fall on our first night.It was an easy walk to Iwatake Ski field where the Hakuba Valley shuttles stop. I would highly recommend this property and if we come back to Hakuba would love to stay again.

“The best accomodation and customer hospitality we’ve ever experienced, worth every cent.”
Before we even arrived, Luke had given us a lift tot the property and a detailed introduction to the town and where all the essential places are located. After showing us the property, he gave us a lift to the grocery store and back. The house is spacious, clean and in a stunning location. All the facilities were modern and he provided detailed instructions for usage. He was attentive to our concerns and struggles and he also drove us back to the train station at the end of our trip. Couldn’t recommend a better property and host!

“Beautiful home in a great location!”
The house felt very warm, comfortable, and cosy and was filled with all the essential amenities. Every room had an amazing snowy view surrounded by trees, and it felt like the perfect place for our group of 6. The location was fantastic, with an onsen only a minute away (which we bathed at every night we were there), and the Iwatake Ski Resort was within walking distance, making our snowboarding trip extremely convenient. Our host was very helpful and accommodating, which made our stay in Hakuba a perfect and memorable experience. I would highly recommend Kaede House!
