It was awesome! Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Pete was so helpful before and during our visit. We loved it and would stay again in a heartbeat if we ever get to visit this beautiful place again.

Everything was great. Spacious apartment overlooking the mountains. Loved being able to sit on the couch drinking my tea while looking at the mountains. The host Pete goes over and beyond for his guests nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend this apartment

The hospitality was amazing, location is central and easy access to train, supermarkets and taxis. Central to snow locations and great food all around.

Our apartments were absolutely beautiful! They were very spacious to accommodate a group of adult couples. The view from the balcony and living rooms was breathtaking! We were able to park right outside our door and utilise a massive drying room for our ski gear. The bathrooms were great and had nice hot water. The Kitchen was modern and had all the necessary fixtures to cook meals. The location was perfect being so close to supermarkets, transport, fashion stores, onsens and local restaurants. Meeting the owners Pete and Shiho was one of the highlights of our time in Hakuba. They were so accommodating and welcoming. They helped in any way they could to ensure our time in Hakuba went smoothly and that we were comfortable in our accommodation. We would absolutely recommend staying at Hakuba Downtown Apartments.

The accomodation was fantastic, perfect for our family. Out of the hustle and bustle, a 3 minute walk to the supermarket and the train / bus stop to the various mountains. Extremely clean and well set up. Pete was amazing, drinks in his garage with other families was a great initiative and really helpful with restaurant recommendations and also making the bookings. When I damaged my ski he not only recommended where to get it fixed but drove me 15 minutes to the shop that night and back again the next day and then dropped us all at the ski mountain after that. We’ll be back.

Pete’s a great host who really looks after everyone. The place is super clean, and the ski room was an awesome bonus! We all loved staying here.

Modern property and amenities. Short walking distance to JR train station, bus stop and grocery stores if you have no car.

We were warmly welcomed and received outstanding assistance in many forms from Pete throughout our stay. The property is close to the train station, bus and shuttle services and a supermarket.

The location was so central. There were shops, restaurants and a supermarket near by. Pete always picks you up and drops you off at the station, which is so welcoming.

Pete was extremely helpful and even WhatsApped us to make sure we knew the exact location. He ensured we had a vehicle to get around and personally oriented us to the apartment. A genuinely funny and friendly host. We loved that the kids could play with snow in the backyard while the adults relaxed on the balcony, sipping hot coffee and keeping an eye on them. The breathtaking Alps in the background were the perfect bonus.

The property was exceptionally clean, well resourced and comfortable. Location was great. Pete was such an amazing host, helping us with every element of our stay, can’t thank him enough! We will return.

Awesome location, host (Pete) was fantastic - sent us a bunch of information before we arrived, sent a video of how to get in (we arrived very late), helped us out with dinner reservations/ where to snowboard/ how to get around.
