I like all facilities in this house! There's a nice kitchen and living room. We traveled in March and it's quite cold outside but no worries because they have 2 cute heaters to keep you warm. There're washing machine, bathtub, water heater etc. Moreover, the host are so nice! They gives us apples and Haagen Dazs ice cream. Midori also very friendly, she can speak English very fluent.

The cutest cottage in a private, but convenient location for all the Hakuba Valley has to offer. We did have an unfortunate incident and lost a rearview mirror on our car to a snow blob with a twig in it, but that only allowed us to find out how helpful and gracious our hosts were. Every bit of support needed to function and resolve this tricky situation was afforded with incredible grace and generosity.

The owners were lovely! They offered to drive us to the slopes everyday as well as taking us grocery shopping. The home was clean, spacious, warm and welcoming, and a great location. We loved our stay and would definitely be coming back! Would recommend!

Host is wonderful person. She prepares apples, ice cream and fresh roses which adds personal touch and make the cottage welcoming and cosy. The host sends my son to skiing school and 4 of them clear the snow and assist in driving out from little slope . Hope to visit them again

“Cosy, family-friendly cottage super close to the slopes and the magic of Hakuba”

Staying at Cottage Gram was a big highlight of our trip. Satoshi, Atsuko and Midori (who live next door) were so accommodating, offering to drive us around and book local restaurants etc. when we were not on the slopes. Really great location, about a 10 min walk from the nearest (+biggest) ski resort in Hakuba, Happo-one. The cottage itself is like something from a storybook, very very clean, extremely warm and young kids can have hours of fun playing in the snow or even sledding! Separate bedrooms and living/dining area too, and great kitchen if you decide to cook a few meals. Altogether can’t rate this place high enough 😊

Spacious, Clean, Warm and cozy for a family of 6. Midori and her parents are very kind and helpful. We are very grateful for them for giving us the chance to stay in their cabin.

This cottage was just delightful. Well-appointed, warm, and very comfortable. We were a family of 5, 3 older kids, and the space was great. The owners picked us up from the train station and were happy to drive us to the snow fields and pick us up. We had a bowl of fruit on arrival. Such lovely people and lovely accommodation. Our favourite in all that we stayed in whilst in Japan!

“Cozy and hospitable cottage”

I visited Hakuba in the early March with my family to go skiing. The Cottage is clean, comfortable, located in a silent place among the trees and fresh mountain air. With all amenities. Within walking distance to a convinient store and restaurants. Midori and her parents are wonderful hosts, so helpful and hospitable. They transfer us by their cars everywhere we need - to and from the Hakuba station, ski slopes, supermarket, restaurants. Our stay exceeded all our expectations. Definitely recommend Hakuba Cottage Gram to anyone.
