The location of the property was very convenient if you have a car. Walking to restaurants, onsen were around 10-15 mins. As we went during off snow season, it was cherry blossom season the scenery was beautiful. We would love to come back during winter. We traveled with 2 kids, the apartment was super spacious and we could lay out our luggage’s

Great location very helpful staff the two scheduled afternoon shoppjng runs were a nice bonus. Amy and Asano San (sp?) were very helpful and friendly. We arrived earlier than expected and were allowed to check in, perhaps because it wasn’t very busy. Proximity to a hotel Onsen with a discount was a favorite activity. Our apartment was very spacious by our Japanese travel standards. A free shuttle service across the street services all the ski resorts, and you could walk to Happo One in 15 min if you felt like it.

Very well located for adventure as well as the convenience of hitting town for supplies. All the shuttles are available close by for the different resorts. The units are very spacious and well appointed, specially the kitchenette. And the people are super helpful - always available.

We enjoyed the complimentary bus shuttle pick up and drop off and to the supermarket each day. Very convenient and helpful

Great service and comfortable

Great location for our family's first ski holiday. A short walk for our 3 kids to have ski and snowboarding lessons. 2 hire places are very close as well. The place had very helpful staff always willing to help. Two bands to take you to the station, supermarket etc. Every 2nd day they supply a cleaner to your room, and great facilities in your room are great. We even had our own little onsen .

Short-ish walk to the lifts, big comfortable bed, space for luggage and drying clothes etc. Washing machine (not easy to use it though). Lovely friendly hosts and a gift if you don't need towels changing during your stay.

“Exceeded expectations”

Great location. Property exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and well appointed. Though the roof spaces were a bit cramped we had 3 bedrooms, very suitable for 3 men in their late 30s. The staff were very helpful and drove us to the supermarket on request or dropped us at the bus station.

Canadian Lodge is in a wonderful location, just a short walk from Rhythm ski rental (and cafe) and Evergreen lifts at Happo-One. The rooms are warm and dry. The facilities are just what you need when skiing (cooking, laundry, dry room etc). The staff are amazing and go the extra mile to help. It’s a 5 min walk to free ski shuttles. The value for money was excellent.

Ideal location for us with the kids enrolled at Evergreen ski school. Perfect having our own cooking facilities for breakfast and if we wanted a home cooked meal at night. We had a rental car so easy to get to supermarkets etc but several restaurants in walking distance

“Amazing”

I loved everything about this property. We stayed in the winter so it was snowing. With only a short walk to the Sakka slope or a shuttle bus that provided - we couldn't complain. The lodge itself was beautiful, warm, inviting and perfect. The owners were lovely too.

Large space. Clean. Able to cook at home. Personal drying room (for wet gear). Washing machine. Close enough to everything. Valley bus stop across the road (take you to other ski lifts than happo 1 which u can walk to).
