Located just a 5-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, Hakuba Alpine Hotel features simple rooms and outdoor hot spring baths. It is just a 5-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the lobby area. Either Japanese-style room or rooms with Western beds are available at the Alpine Hotel. They are all fitted with a TV, a fridge and an electric kettle. Some toiletries are included in the en suite bathroom. Hotel Alpine Hakuba offers luggage and ski storage services for free. Guests can enjoy the views of the mountains from the balcony lounge, or sip drinks in the cosy common room with a fireplace. On-site coin launderette and vending machines can be used. The property is a 10-minute walk from Hakuba Hot Spring, and a 3-minute walk from Hosono Suwa Shrine. The closest Matsumoto Airport is about a 90-minute drive away. Carefully prepared Japanese multi-course dinner is served at the dining room. A hearty breakfast buffet is also available. The meals have to be reserved at time of booking.

Happy and friendly service. Great location near to the Happo bus stop and near to the Lawson mini-market. Great Onsen in the hotel. Good boot room for storing skis/boots. Great to be able to get a 916 from the vending machine any time.

The owner was extremely friendly and helped us to store our luggage prior to check-in on the first day. The location was perfect for the Happo One bus terminal and the building itself was very clean and well looked after. The rooms were spacious and towels replaced on a daily basis. The onsen was a bonus. Very happy with our choice to stay here

“Exceptional, authentic Japanese hotel”
The location is great! just few minutes walk to the Bus Terminal and Lion cafe where you can catch free shuttle buses to various ski resorts. Lawsons is easily accessible and you can grab dinner and drinks anytime. They only provide traditional Japanese breakfast which is excellent. But if this is not your thing, you can walk to Lion Cafe to enjoy a nice breakfast and decent coffee latte. The owner has been running this hotel more than 60 years, and it is a bit sad that they have stopped providing dinner during the winter season. The common areas are lovely where you can enjoy evening time with fam and friends. Onsen is a big plus after skiing in the mountain but be mindful they swap the male and female Onsen occasionally.

The property have authentic Japanese style and is very clean for the age. Staff are amazing and Japanese breakfast was excellent. Overall very good property and value for money. Rooms are great and location perfect. Is more family oriented.
