The apartment was quite large and huge main bed and well positioned with everything we needed for our stay.

Very spacious, very clean, with 2 bedrooms, and kitchen, dryer, microwave, perfect for my family staying. Very helpful young people who might be owner or staff. Lawson is a little bit far if you walk, 2km away, but we have a car so it’s great. When the restaurants booked out we just bought some Lawson food to warm up in the room using their microwave. Very nice neighborhood. Our car was stuck in the snow, an Australian who driving a snowplow helped us to tow our car. Very Thankful for that.

I booked the apartments at about 16:10 and the booking.com page stated checkin was from 16:00. I arrived at 21:00 and no one was present, only a sign stating check out was at 10:00 only and check in at 16:00 only. It had a phone number to call, which was an Australian number, that went to voice mail as the help desk only worked Australian weekday working hours! I booked the apartment as there was no other avalability in the resort on booking.com. Now I was on my own (imagine if it had been a family travelling! and managed to find a room in a 4 star hotel at great cost. i then returned at 10:00 to catch the check out group but again no one and no answer on the help desk. I then cut my day short to make it back fro 16:00 and again no one! As there were now no rooms in the resort I had to take a 40k JPY taxi ($165!) fare to another resort to another hotel. on Monday I had a call from the help desk breezily telling me that all was good as they had not charged me. Well they owe me for 2 nights in different hotels and an expensive taxi fare through their negligence.

Rooms were great, and all facilities were perfect. Walking distance to restaurants and bars, and the staff (Brad) were unreal. Brad not only gave us great recommendations, he also picked us up on the side of the road after checking out to take us to the bus station. Super nice guy and went out of his way to help us.

Excellent accommodation, comfortable, modern facilities, within easy walking distance of Happo One ski lift.

Modern and spacious western style and reasonably priced. The kids loved the bunk beds and having their own bathroom. We loved the extra space compared with similarly priced Japanese style accommodation.

Honestly, this place has unfairly gotten bad reviews in the past, but we had no problems. Super new, clean facilities, good kitchen and lounge area, comfortable beds, clean towels and everything you need for a great stay. But just be a little independent with your mindset coming here the staff are just snowboarders that avoid customer service jobs. You don’t need the staff for a good stay here. At the back of the building there is a “reception” window. They leave you an envelope with details of how to access your apartment.

Great location. Car parking right out the front and easy access with lots of ski gear. The two bathrooms were an advantage. The beds were comfortable. The heating was well taken care of. The kitchenette was stocked appropriately to self-cater. Generally good value for the rate.

There is no window in the living room, it is very dark and not possible to ventilate which is dangerous with the ongoing covid19 pandemic. The equipment is poor: no shampoo/conditioner, no rice cooker, no chopsticks, the beds are not comfortable. The soundproofing is very bad, you can hear all the neighbours. There is no dryroom in the building, it is cumbersome to carry the ski equipment to the 2nd floor if your apartment is not on the 1st floor and also the apartment floor will get wet.
