“A Pleasant Stay”

We were attended to by a English speaking young lady who is friendly and helpful. We like that the room is spacious and and comfortable, even though the balcony could have been made nicer. There is a main hotel which is newer and with onsen. The onsen is accessible to guests from both main hotel and the annex, at a fee. The guests from this annex will have to walk about 5-10min to the main hotel to use the onsen facilities. The annex do provide cooking utensils as there's a simple and tiny kitchen in the room.

Comfortable, affordable ryokan type accommodation. Very decent in size. Nice views. Staff were super helpful and kind. Provides yukata to wear :) good location, though it is up a steep hill so recommend getting a taxi there if travelling with a lot of luggage. Otherwise didnt mind the hill, very short walk from where the train stops.

The location was in Gora, which had great access to all the Hakone sites such as Owakudani, Gora Park etc. The onsen was pleasant with water around 42 degrees - quite hot if you like this. The dinner of chicken nabe (hot pot) was great once you understood how to make it. The futons were very comfortable. Since there were limited English instructions, I would advise that you research in advance of how to set up (and put) away a futon. The view from the hotel was lovely in the morning - lovely views of the Hakone area. The room facilities (fridge, portable hob ring for cooking) were great. It was good to know you could cook for yourself, especially if you have allergies or have particular food requirements. You can rent cooking utensils from the reception.

Location was great close to the cable car. Loved the onsen and the views from the verandah. It was comfortable and a great experience for the family to stay in a traditional ryokan.

Amazing view from the balcony. Spacious apartment. You can take a Yukata and wear it when going to the Onsen. Very good dinner - Nabe, which is waiting for you in your room. In the reception, I got instructions on how to finish it by myself.

The staff was very nice we had a last minute booking (due to some issues in other hotel) and arrived unexpectedly and after their staff hours. the lady at the desk quickly accomodate us and was very nice in what was a stressful night for us. The room was beautiful and big beds super comfortable. The onset was very nice and relaxing everything was super clean.
