“A timeless retreat by the lake”
The location is exceptional, right on the lake and surrounded by a beautiful park. The hotel retains an ageless charm, blending timeless architecture with the serene beauty of its surroundings. We requested a room with a lake view, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. The onsen experience was truly wonderful, allowing us to relax while being fully immersed in nature. The buffet dinner was excellent with a large choice of food.

“Excellent hotel in a beautiful location.”
Excellent hotel in beautiful location - we even got a clear view of Mount Fuji. The facilities, especially the onsen were fantastic and the free shuttle bus to and from Odawara Station was a bonus. All the main hotel staff were lovely and helpful.

A lovely hotel with helpful and mostly efficient staff. We upgraded our room and got a room facing the lake and Mt Fuji. So special. Onson was good. Did not use the restaurants. Courtesy bus to and from Owafara was excellent. Forwarded our luggage from here, was waiting for us at our Tokyo hotel.

“Great hotel, staff, location, onsen and value for money”
This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was very specious, staff was extremely nice and helpful, onsen was neat, including indoor and outdoor facilities and location is great, just on the lake, with a surrounding forest. There's also a shuttle to town.

“Excellent stay”
Very nice rooms with good view of the lake. Great meal in the French restaurant. Nice Onsen overlooking the lake. Fantastic view of Mt. Fuji from hotel grounds in the morning. Easy to travel to major Hakone sights. Free shuttle bus to Odawara Station for Shinkansen trains.

Superb hotel, very good facilities, breakfast and dinner in “Lakeside” were both excellent (considering we have 1 vegetarian that struggled with food everywhere in Japan). Staff were very nice and prepared something very good for her
