“A very beautiful and relaxing place to stay.”
I loved pretty much everything about it. The staff was great and we loved our room and the view along with the hot spring bath. We especially loved the foot bath at the bar with the daily free drink. That was a very nice surprise. I would come back to this hotel.

“Easy access to Hakone, great facilities”
The hotel is spacious with views from the rooms, the facilities both within the room and additional facilities were good and easy to book through reception. The access to yakuta's/kimonos was an added bonus and you really can take in Japanese culture at this hotel.

“Good location and near to the Gora station but the hotel is old and outdated.”
The staffs are friendly and tried to help even they’re not able to speak English well. We enjoyed our stay however had got the feeling to strictly commanded time table which did not allow us to be flexible.

Everything was very nice. From the room to the Japanese breakfast and the truly delicious dinner. The staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant, were very friendly and helpful, even though they didn't speak much English, but their genuineness is appreciated. I tried both the public and private onsen without any problems with crowding.

The perfect Japanese hotel experience. If you are looking for an authentic Japanese experience this is a great hotel. Wonderful Japanese dinner and breakfast. Our room had as private onsen and would recommend this along with the welcome drinks at the bar with its own foot bath.

“A lovely stay”
I wish I could have stayed here longer than one night but thoroughly enjoyed the time I did have. The stone bath in my room was such a highlight - perfect after a day of wandering around Hakone. But I also booked an hour in the private outdoor onsen, which was lovely. I loved all of the little touches, from being able to choose my own yukata to the free welcome drink at the lobby bar with footbath. The location was amazing, just a few minutes from the station. And the coffee shop across the road served great coffee.

The meals were delicious and they have actually prepared a second menu for guests who stayed more than one night. The room was large and comfortable. The bar with foot bath was a new experience

“Comfortable, friendly staff and great experience!”
The futons were incredibly comfortable, and having a private bath in the room really elevated the whole stay. There was plenty of space, and the range of amenities made it feel even more luxurious. The staff went above and beyond with their service, and the traditional dinner and breakfast truly added to the overall experience.
