We really loved the authentic Ryoken Onsen experience. Having our own Onsen attached to the room was super. The food was exceptional and everything about the hotel was perfect. It was great to have alcoholic drinks available at the service area for free as well as during the meals.

It's an amazing experience, the food, the room, the service. Also easily accessible by bus and there is a convenience store next door.

Stayed in many ryokans. This is one of the best value ones. Loved it

The private real stone onsen in the room was delightful, with big and super clean space. The food was purely amazing. We discovered a lot of Japanese fine dishes! The beds were really confortable, and the staff was really nice in every situation!

Amazing place to stay and relax after long day of wondering around hakone. Price is a bit higher but its worth it. Having your own thermal bath in the room with view over mountain is just amazing. And after u take a rest in the bath there is a 3 course michelin quality meal waitting for u and the same thing goes for breakfast. If u are looking for a place to relax and eat some amazing japennese cousine this is a place for u.

Beautiful room, with a private onsen bath. The tatami mat beds were comfortable and the space was beautiful. Pretty clean as well.

Our experience staying at this Ryokan was excellent. Both the public and private onsens were of a good size, very relaxing, very clean. The hotel offered 24/7 drinks bar near every room. The western Japanese style room was very spacious. Both dinner and breakfast were traditional Japanese style. Everything was delicious and well presented. Staff were lovely! I will recommend this stay to friends and family.

All the staffs are nice and helpful.

I spent a month trying to contact the hotel through every possible channels. No one answered and my issues were not resolved. I am very dissatisfied.

Private onsen available for more privacy in your own room. There is a free flow drink bar with alcohol (time restricted) available for guests. A convenience store is nearby as well.

Dinner & breakfast were excellent, rich, delicious, and very well prepared. The room was more spacious than typical Japanese hotel room. The private hot spring bath in the room was small but comfortably fit two people. A convenience store is located right next to the ryokan, which is very convenient. The parking area has plenty of spaces and is free of charge.

“Peaceful Ryokan Experience with Private Onsen”

Susukinohara Ichinoyu Onsen in Hakone is a peaceful retreat, perfect for unwinding. Each room has a private hot spring bath, which is amazing, and the spacious tatami room added to the traditional charm. The special ryokan-style breakfast and dinner were a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Large comfortable rooms with mini onsens in each one, as well as lovely indoor and outdoor public baths available. Located slightly outside Hakone township but on a main road with a bus stop and convenience store right outside so getting around wasn't a problem. The package with dinner and breakfast included was crazy, it was kaiseki style with different options each night and an enormous spread so we were able to try lots of different things (sushi boat, shabbu shabbu, whole crab legs and fish, etc.). There were also lots of thoughtful touches like a free open bar in each building, free popsicles post-onsen in the public bath area, and yukatas available to wear during your stay.
