“Great Onsen experience!!”

The private onsens are great and staff are friendly! Even if you cant reserve one there’s another onsen (cypress bath) available on a first come first serve basis.

Very good vibe in this hostel. The staff is very sympathic. The common space is nice, hostful, with some books and board games. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bathroom too. And the big point is the onsen !! You can enjoy a common onsen or book a private one for free ! There is also a bar which is very pleasant.

We had a lovely time in Hakone Tent, the staff, especially Abi were so welcoming and gave us local recommendations for activities and places to eat. The facilities were amazing. The private Onsen was so relaxing and spacious.

Ryokan styled accomodation created a great Japanese experience. Facilities were clean and natural onsen was a great feature.

The location and place are beautiful. The staff was adorable and the onsen is lovely. Very nostalgic.

“Welcoming and fun place to stay”

We loved the atmosphere here, very welcoming and family friendly. The tatami mat room was great, plenty of space with comfortable futons and cozy blankets. The bar was a lovely place to hang out in the evening, the first night we had dinner here and made our own hand rolls, which was fun and delicious! The staff were great at entertaining the kids, getting them to try calligraphy and learning some Japanese characters in the process. Nice to have the onsen onsite too. Location was good, close to Gora station.

“Apartment is great”

We stayed in the apartment. It was really close to Gora station. They have luggage storage if you need it. Apartment was really clean and all basic amenities provided. Before leaving, we will need to remove our own bed linens and towels and place them in a bin.

The staff was super friendly and we felt very welcome.

Staff here are amazing making you feel so welcome and have lots of suggestions of where to eat and things to do. Apartment was huge and great heating.
