Great location set in lovely gardens. The hotel is a little tired but is a traditional hotel of high quality. Very large rooms with great views of the garden. Great, helpful and welcoming staff. Good quality food including breakfast.

We really loved our stay here: the room was very clean; the staff were really friendly and polite; the food in the restaurant (we ate at the French restaurant) was excellent and the view from the hotel terrace and beautiful garden was stunning, with its lakeside setting.

It’s in a good location, an easy 15 minute stroll to Motohakone port. Fabulous view of mt Fuji from the gardens, which are also lovely. Good onsen. Shuttle bus to the port.

“Well run, easy place to stay”

The excellent service when there was a hacking attempt ..and excellent responsiveness when we had to change the dates of our booking. I am extremely appreciative to the hotel. The gardens were also lovely.

Good view of the lake and can see Mt Fuji.Staff was great,especially the shuttle bus drivers.There's public bath in the hotel.

Great views, stunning gardens, very comfortable room, wonderful onsen, delicious food. The staff were great, and a special mention to Tomoko, she was incredibly helpful and so charming and welcoming, nothing was too much bother for her and her English is faultless. Many thanks.

Beautiful location right next to the lake. On a clear day you can see Mount Fuji.

The hotel is in a nice setting and its an easy short walk to town. The staff are incredibly helpful. Our room was comfortable and the Onsen is a lovely experience.

“Great environment and meal and good onsen”

Spacious room and good onsen. I have French cuisine for dinner and Japanese breakfast which were good. Free shuttle to nearby pier which is very convenient and within walking distance to the Shrine nearby. The room have garden view and small part of lake view.

The hotel is very nice, and the service is excellent. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to and from the port. Highly recommended, definitely worth staying at.

“For a beautiful and tranquil stay in the nature of Japan !”

I liked the location ! It has a beautiful lake view and a great view of mountain Fuji ! It makes you feel all and relaxed . Nice jazz and classical music all day from a real piano . Good food . Could have more options . And more separate dishes compared to menu courses that it had . Overall a great experience . You don’t want to leave the lounge .
