The breakfast was vaired and satisfactory. The 24 hr bar was convenient. The onsen was to our expectations. The front desk was helpful with Uber and accommodating when we arrived a day earlier than our booking.

I think this is the nicest hotel we have ever been to. The room is a nice size after coming from a small room in Tokyo. Everything is perfect from the linen, pajamas, onsen wrap, free flow of serve yourself matcha latte, coffee , tea, hot chocolate or whatever takes your fancy. The pool is a beautiful space. The onsen is divine. The facilities top class. A must is the dinner as the food is the best we have had in a restaurant in a long time, and we dine out in Sydney every week. The staff, especially in the restaurant are so wonderful and attentive. Watanabe must be the most jolly man recommending wine to complement our meal. When we expressed compliments to the chef, both Nishiyama and Ozawa immediately came out to thank us. So humble. The only mention is that we had hired a car from the station at Odawara from Toyota. A seamless experience and highly recommend as you would not get to as many sights as we did using the buses. Plus so reasonably priced. Just need an international license. All insurance and toll card is included with Toyota, unlike other companies. Just pay for the tolls you used when you return. We did see magnificent Fujisan , but quickly drove to better locations depending on the wind direction of the clouds. The speed limit is mostly 40km/hr so easy driving.

The rooms were beautiful. The entire place was relaxing and calming, staff were very helpful and friendly.

Wonderfully relaxing and wonderful food

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is beautiful, the property itself is stunning, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. One of the highlights for us was the outdoor natural hot spring bath in the room, it was such a relaxing and memorable experience. We did have a slightly uncomfortable moment during dinner. After being seated, we were informed that my perfume might bother other guests, and we were asked to move to a separate area. While it caught us off guard, the staff handled the situation with kindness and sensitivity, and we appreciated their effort to manage it as thoughtfully as possible. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we left with a great impression. We also learned something new, probably best to skip perfume at dinner in Japan :)

Loved the lazy day clothes, the beautiful tranquil private onsen, the incredible menu, made up especially for this fussy vegetarian. It was out of this world! Cannot appreciate your efforts enough. The restaurant staff were especially attentive and kind. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

This hotel is just beautiful and the service was amazing! I highly recommend staying at Nol if you want to visit Hakone but in luxury. The private onsen is so worth it and the shuttle service makes it easy to enjoy some sight seeing. But it’s truly wonderful to just enjoy the hotel and gardens etc. Loved the calm vibe.
