“We really enjoyed our stay (3 nights), wished we had stayed longer. So much to see in the area.”
Great location close to Hakone Open Air Art Museum and Chokokunomori Station, ten minute walk to Gora Station and the cable car to the Hakone Ropeway. Good restaurants close by. A very comfortable, quiet place to stay.

1. Everything as described by the host is superb and spot-on 2. Clean and awesome house 3. Very well-maintained house with all fully equipped facilities (Needless to say heated flooring?) 4. Tatami flooring for the bedroom is a smart touch to get you a modern feel of the traditional Japanese home Just sad that I could not spend more time here.

“Hakone's best kept secret”
If you are looking for a chic and modern take on a traditional Japanese stay, mysa Hakone is your go to. The property is beautifully designed and comes with the most thoughtful amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We enjoyed the projector as we got to enjoy movies and YouTube whilst we spent time together. The owners of the property have spent a great deal of time curating the space and you can tell their level of commitment to their beautiful property.

Great space for a family - 4 single beds upstairs in a lovely space & more downstairs as needed . Good location if you are fit & mobile - suited us - quicker way to train via large set of stairs . Nice old Japanese style house
