“Nice hotel in Hakone”

The hotel is located about 20 min walk from the open air museum in Hakone. There's also a convenience store just outside the hotel. The breakfast is nice, mainly Japanese breakfast but some Western options as well. Staff were super helpful with everything we needed.

I loved everything about this hotel and more specifically the Yukata, the sento which was really amazing, the food, the tea bar. The room was HUGE which is very rare in Japan, and the beds veeery comfortable.

The stay exceeded my expectations quite highly. Even before the stay, the staff was very accommodating and communicative. Due to a typhoon, I had to change travel plans by a day, and they were very flexible and understanding about it. The access to the hotel does entail a somewhat steep climb, but because of the way Gora is structured, I think that is inevitable. The room was very spacious, the bathroom was also well sized. It also had a nice balcony. My room was on the 2nd Floor, so quite level with the hill at the back, but I can imagine it is even nicer if you are further up. The highlight for me was the dinner and breakfast. These are somewhat pricey extras but fully worth it. The dinner especially is quite an experience, with multiple courses of very high quality meals. I would happily come back if I get the chance to come to Hakone again.

Nice onsen, food good. Great big room

- The unit I stayed at has a wooden outdoor tub. Not onsen water but nice to dip in spring weather. - In the basement they have an actual onsen, and they provide yukata's too. - My unit was spacious, enough for a family of 4 or 5.

5 min from Gora station. My quadruple room corner suite has beautiful view. Open bath is private and relaxing. Medicinal tea is fantastic.

Conveniently located in Gora, easily reachable even with a backpack (about a 300-meter uphill walk from the station). Traditional yukata are available for guests for dinner (not mandatory). The included traditional dinner was excellent. The staff were outstanding, both in terms of kindness and helpfulness. I highly recommend it.

The facility was very clean, rooms are spacious, the onsen and sauna were also clean.

“Luxurious and relaxing.”

It was very inviting and well run. Room was spacious and comfortable and I enjoyed the balcony bath and the communal onsen. Perfectly placed for the Hakone Circuit.

The tea room is definitely a great idea. The location is good, close to a convenient store, few restaurants/coffee shops and the Gora train Station.

The batch’s are very clean, the services as well. The staff is very friendly and professional. The tea area was amazing. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room and loved it. The location is perfect to visit Hakone, take the cable car or a bus to the museums.

I loved the breakfast, different everyday and copious, with guidance about the nutrition value and the recipes, the tea bar and tea bar room where an extra enjoyment.The onsen is very nice .

The food was outstanding as well as the experience of meal times, especially if you have dinner, which is well worth the cost. As good as any Michelin star restaurant with the added bonus of all-inclusive drinks during the meal. In addition the tea room was a nice experience with lots of choice and free after dinner drinks.
