An absolutely gorgeous old traditional building set between a green forested mountain, a huge roaring river and a busy road. The room was beautiful, the onsen were even better, I was blown away and didn’t leave the hotel for 24hours. The staff were also excellent.

It was a beautiful ryokan. The onsen is beautiful as well. Breakfast was tasty and the staff couldn’t be anymore better. They were all great and so polite.

An excellent place to stay, I recommend it to all of the tourist who came to Hakone for 1 or 2 weeks to see Mt Fuji

“Marvelous ryokan with onsen!”

Beautiful ryokan with really good onsen. I stayed in the secondary building but they give you the possibility to visit the thermal baths in the main building which are more beautiful. I have always been alone in the onsen, and it was the beginning of april. The room was really traditional! It’s relatively near the train station, a little far from the lake (but there is a bus)

Private shower had no shampoo, soap, you need to get it from downstairs. Breakfast could have more items. No toilets and shower in the room. You share with other guests Open onsen was okayish. It was raining the day I checked in so I didn’t go in.

“Traditional relaxation”

The Hotel is an old japanese style ryokan. Very traditional. There is a small onsen ladies and men separated outside. For the bigger onsen, you would have to walk down the street a few meters to reach the main building. There you can use the other facilites. Toilets are not avaliable in some rooms, we did not have one, but did not mind. Everything was clean. In generall it was a good stay, the staff was very nice.

“Cute ryokan in Hakone”

The rooms are amazing and the experience itself with the Yakama dressing and everything is really cool. Love also the onsen - really cleaned. Honestly I didn’t really get the comment about the noise of the road - my sleep is quite light and I couldn’t hear anything.

The mainbuilding is a very traditional Onsen with an amazing atmosphere. Also the employes have been very nice and helpful

Stayed here for one night and it was great . It’s not very far from all attractions and the bus stop is just near the hotel . Overall hotel is very cozy and clean . Recommended .

A truly wonderful stay in Hakone! We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. While the entrance for check-in was a bit tricky to find at first, the staff at the main building were incredibly helpful. The front desk didn't speak much English, but with a translation app, everything was easily manageable – and their kindness and hospitality were absolutely exceptional. The outdoor onsen is a dream come true, offering pure relaxation in a beautiful setting. The rooms are authentic, spacious, and full of charm. Highly recommended for an unforgettable Hakone experience!
