After stays in hotels and small apartments, it was lovely to have our own little house for a few days in the mountains. We are a family of 4 but this house could easily accommodate 2 families of 4 (provided 4 people are prepared to sleep on futon mattresses in tatami rooms). The house was very clean and has a full kitchen with large fridge and dishwasher.

“I Love Hakone is a great Japanese house if you like the countryside and its quietness.”
The house is perfectly equipped. There is space, the AC worked perfectly. The rooms were big enough for all the family.
