The room was so spacious and comfortable. The hotel, though not that close to the main streets of Gora, has a complimentary shuttle bus making a lot of attractions easily accessible. The area is so beautiful and the onsen onsite is wonderfully relaxing. The buffet breakfast was fantastic and dinner at the sushi restaurant was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was our kids' favourite place to stay on our trip.

It’s a beautiful hotel with lovely amenities to sit and enjoy and take in more traditional beautiful Japan. Mt Fuji view is very limited.

“A wonderful place”

I've been to many high end hotels, and Hyatt is the best one I've been to. Me and my partner were staying at another place nearby and came for dinner, and from the moment we arrived we felt entirely cared for. It was the most personal and genuine reception I've experienced. We decided to switch hotels to Hyatt and it was a great choice. Visit if you like feeling seen and if you prefer a quite and calm atmosphere. They also have a wonderful lounge with a fireplace, and great food and drinks. I really can't think of anything bad to say. An extra thank you to the young woman who first greeted us and showed us around. On our first night, she knew we weren't guests at the hotel, but she still took great care to help us with everything we needed.

Staff gave us a fruit bowl to say happy anniversary. They were the sweetest staff, but hotel in general is not worth it.

Amazing accommodation, lovely lounge and restaurant areas, free welcome drink. Great views from our room of the hills. The room was spacious and everything was great quality. Transport available free to pick us up from Odawara train station and return when we were leaving and they took us whenever we want to go to see the sites in the hotel area. Beautiful staff. First Onsen experience which was amazing. Breakfast incredible, such variety. Dinner also great.

Lovely facility with super cozy lounge / dining room

The reception and bell hop were very helpful advising how to take in the local sites. I had the onsen to myself. The rooms were perfect for four of us. My daughters loved the tatami style rooms with a sliding door partition to give them privacy. The complimentary shuttle was very convenient dropping us off and picking us up from the cable car station and open air museum as well as dropping us to Odwara train station.

I like the ambiance of the hotel and the free shuttle service to the nearby locations. It is very close to the Hakone free pass attractions. Room is comfortable and sleeps 6 easily.

Amazing rooms, it is worth getting the mountain view rooms. I would also speak highly of the service and the shuttle service which was a flexible as possible to make travelling easier.

We had an exceptional stay at this beautiful hotel in Hakone. The views of the surrounding mountains were absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The food was exquisite—some of the best meals we’ve had in Japan—and the hotel itself was stylish and spotless. The staff were incredibly welcoming and spoke English, which made everything much easier. A couple of things to keep in mind for future guests: the hotel is in a remote location, which adds to the tranquility, but it also means it’s not near any convenience stores (like 7-Eleven). We were travelling with a small child and weren’t able to get milk or other essentials late at night, so I’d recommend bringing everything you might need in advance. The spa deserves a special mention—it was absolute heaven. I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had there. Perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Highly recommended for couples, solo travellers, or families who are well-prepared!

Loved our room with the tatami area. It was spacious and beautiful. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much, and we got great assistance for anything we asked for. Also the shuttle service is very useful.
