I had a wonderful relaxing stay here. My room had a beautiful view from the balcony with its own private onsen. In particular I really appreciated how they cater to dietary requirements giving me a chance to fully experience my first stay at a ryokan, which was truly special.

Everything - absolutely amazing. Incredible luxury and everything is thought of and taken care of. Staff were amazing and accommodated our very challenging dietary request (no fish!)

The onsen was large, clean and had good lockers. I liked the basket in the room that we could take to the onsen. We did not book dinner beforehand and on the day at check in it was too late. There are no places to eat within a 20 minute walk of the hotel open after 7.30 pm

It was clean, kept clean all day, set with a backdrop of a beautiful mountain. Room was comfortable. The onsen bath was a highlight.

Staff is efficient, attentive and friendly. The half board is nicely organised. Food is very fresh and tasty. The room was spacious and clean. The onsen lovely. I liked very much the kimono offered to use inside the facilities, it gives a cozy feeling. They even offer down jackets for cold days. But T stops right in front of it, and takes you to the lake Ashi or to Odawara.

I loved everything - the location, facilities, the room, the attention to details etc. We stayed in a room with a private onsen overlooking the hills/mountains. I could see and hear birds chirping as I was soaking in the tub.

The food was great, the staff was great and even had little hand held translators. It was my first experience with an onsen and it was very relaxing.

Thé location and the complete complex was simply amazing as for the staff very welcoming! Breakfast and dîner were delicious, the Onsen facility just perfect .. we were soo happy with our choice and sad to leave when time came

Beautiful, elegant rooms with stunning artwork in the hotel. The gender-segregated onsens were incredible (coverings accepted for those with tattoos). They were able to accommodate my request for the meal to be vegetarian!

“Too many Chinese tourists”

The hotel, a recently opened and well-maintained establishment, is relatively small. However, several areas require attention: 1. Room sizes are diminutive, comparable to a two-star Shinjuku hotel, with a high-density layout. 2. The onsen facilities are adequate, the limited space lacks even basic amenities such as reclining chairs and a milk vending machine, a standard feature in Japanese onsen. 3. The significant number of Chinese guests contributes to a high noise level throughout the hotel, particularly in dining areas. Instances of inappropriate onsen etiquette, such as mask-wearing and mobile phone use, were observed and, despite staff intervention, persisted. I believe that this hotel mainly caters to Chinese tourists, because when I went to the reception desk to report that someone was constantly using a mobile phone in the hot spring, the female staff did not understand English, but she could communicate with me in fluent Mandarin. As you can imagine, she was specially hired to meet Chinese tourists. If you want to have a peaceful hot spring vacation, I definitely do not recommend this hotel. Although the service from the staff is very good.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. The hotel was modern, clean and well equipped. The spa is very clean, nice and relaxing. Our beds was really comfortable and the room had a high standard and was quite spacious. The service here is really excellent! They offered a shuttle from the train station. I forgot my jacket at the hotel and the driver went back to give it to me without any extra charge, very friendly.
