Huge rooms next to each other. Absolutely loved the shuttle service to the bus stops and to Odawara station. Beds were super comfy. Really enjoyed our stay.

“Wonderful place, will go back one day”

Staff were amazing, food was amazing, location is amazing. Onsen is very nice. Because the ryokan is away from the busy areas of Hakone, you are not troubled by the bikers at 2am in the morning. I am repeating myself but the staff, particularly at meals, were amazing. There was one man in particular, from Hakodate, that could not have been more charming.

It was one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. If perfection could be touched, this place would be it. Absolutely flawless experience!

A wonderful place if you are looking for peace and quiet. Although it’s located far from tourist attractions, the onsen and the beautiful natural scenery more than make up for it.

“a perfect experience”

It delivered exactly what we were looking for — a comfortable ryokan, with scenic volcanic water onsen, a tatami room accomodation, and delicious traditional multi-course meals. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive, even considering Japan's elevated standards for service. Special thanks to the shuttle-service driver who went out of their way to solve a problem we had with our luggage. And all for a very reasonable price. It was a dreamy experience that I would gladly recommend.

“Pampering and secluded”

You can tell the hotel has a long history but it is maintained well and the site is beautiful. The staff is very attentive. The Ryokan style rooms are clean with beautiful views to the golf course. The Onsen is clean. There are free drinks and icicles in the lounge.

We love our time at the hotel. The staffs were so lovely. We love the yummy ice cream at the beautiful coffee area. There will be buses that bring you to the closest bus stop. If you get the Hakone pass, it is super convenience to go around.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and extravagant! We were assisted with our luggage upon arrival where they escorted us to our room. There’s complimentary shuttle service to the Ashinoyu bus stop and a transfer to the main town in the morning and return to the hotel in the afternoon. On our last day we were lucky to see the first snow!!
