The hotel and property was really nice. The Onsen was lovely. There were 3 to sit in, one standard, one small spa, and small out door bath. I didn’t eat there as I was mainly vegetarian and thought the food was a bit expensive. I noticed a more older crowd. A beautiful area behind hotel to walk around.

“Everything about our stay at Hakone Highland was relaxing and serene.”
We loved our room! It was larger than we had expected, the beds were super comfy, and the hot spring bath on the deck was a perfect choice for us. Also, the hotel also has a bus stop directly in front of their parking lot so it made getting around easy.

The hotel was lovely but you do need a car. The Onsen and treatments were superb. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to walk the lovely grounds.
