We had a very nice stay at the Toi Guesthouse. Its a traditional style simple accommodation. The room was a spacious traditional Japanese style room on an own floor. We also enjoyed the home cooked meal at the evenings.

Lovely guesthouse with a nice communal area and great views of the surrounding mountains. It’s the perfect cosy place to come back to after a day in the outdoors, with a fab little private onsen too. You can also get food from there - I had some amazing dumplings. The hosts were lovely and we had a nice chat!

It is a lovely place to stay in Hakone. Good location and friendly staff, with good menu options.

Fantastic hosts in a hostel style accommodation. The room was tidy and the beds were comfy. It was nice and very convenient to have a restaurant in the lounge area. The accommodations were just a 5-10min walk to the bus station (depending on which bus you need).

Very nice private natural tattoo friendly onsen. The bus stop towards lake Ashi is also nearby.

i was recommended this property by a friend and i can see why - i loved my stay here!! excellent location, the staff are amazing, and everything had been thought of with lots of information on things to do. the guesthouse is easy to access by public transport as it is next to a bus stop and a short walk from a train station, making it easy to get around. the food was also amazing and well priced, and i love that they had vegetarian options!!

It’s super cozy. The Chinese lady at the front desk during weekends made the place feel so welcoming and social. She is a ball of energy. The beds were also incredibly comfortable.

I really liked the old cottage vibes the structure has. All in wood and very beautiful, especially the common room. The staff was super nice and gave us a lot of useful advice!

For the price of the night there's nothing bad I can say! Very nice and helpful woman on the reception and also preparing food and drinks later. The place is clean, has wi-fi, all facilities are shared, but clean
