Upon arrival, the staff proactively came to assist with our luggage, and the check-in process was smooth and well-handled. The staff member who looked after us during our stay was particularly friendly and attentive, which made a positive difference to our experience. The location is excellent, and having a private onsen is a definite highlight. Our outdoor private bath had a beautiful view, making it a very relaxing and memorable experience. We also enjoyed wearing the hotel’s yukata to dinner, which added a fun and authentic touch to the stay. The food was decent, though not particularly outstanding. That said, the kaiseki dining experience itself was still interesting to try. The children’s meal was more Western-style, which worked well for our family.

We booked this as a treat post-Tokyo Marathon & anniversary and it did not disappoint! From the food, to the service, to the rooms, it was perfect from start to finish. Get the full board option, it's worth it! And the free drink and sweets bar to round off the night is an excellent touch. Amazing amazing amazing.

The staff was excellent, we really felt welcome from the moment we stepped in. The amenities in the room are there to meet your every need, and attention to detail is incredible. The private onsen was really a treat, and the staff mentioned the public onsen was also available to enjoy overnight (we didn't go but I'm sure it's also amazing). Loved that minibar was complimentary and after each meal, we also had a complimentary drinks and snacks station set up. The dinner and Japanese breakfast were mind-blowing, I'm still dreaming about it. The view over the mountains was incredible and everything around the ryokan is made for you to be in a deep state of relaxation. 10000% would recommend and would go back!

The VVIP hospitality we received throughout our stay. Shout out to the hotel staff, Ali, for making our stay enjoyable and for seeing us off. The room was spacious, decorated with contemporary Japanese furnishings, chocked full of amenities, private onsen on the balcony deck. Private dining room for Kaiseki and authentic japanese breakfast. Cosy lounge equipped with a fireplace, panoramic view of the hills and bottomless alcohol.

Beautiful setting, felt incredibly peaceful and the thought put into all the extras felt very special - e.g printed menus, welcome drinks, lounge amenities etc. The staff were very helpful, and made it a great stay. All the food was excellent, and was brilliant to try new things. The onsen was wonderful.

Amazing service. Everyone was so kind. The shuttle service was so nice. The food was delicious and a unique experience. The room was beautiful and the onsen (our private one and the public one) were wonderful. There were so many cute details that amazed us during our stay.
