The place was really nice, quite and comfortable for 2 adults, 2 teens. Quiet area with a few dining place and convenient store nearby

Host was super available -I couldn’t manage the washing machine -he messaged me instructions and as I wasn’t able to remedy the problem -he rocked up -without being requested -I am very appreciative

Good location a five or ten minute stroll to the centre of Yumoto. It’s in a quiet spot. Kitchen was big enough for our purposes.

We only spent 1 night out of the 3 we’d booked, as the property was experiencing issues with the WiFi. However host was super responsive and fair and promptly found alternative accommodation for us, which worked out even better for our family, as everything was in one level, rather than 3, making everything easier for us.

The whole place was really nice. What you see in the photos, that's what is you're going to see in real life. It was sad that we just got to spend one night in the place. I would have loved to stay longer.

Bedding and everything else

After Japanese smallest hotel rooms, this apparent is like a palace. Situated in silent part of Hakone just 10 mins walk from the station. A bit old but in perfect condition. Very well equipped. ACs, TVs, perfect water pressure, all good. The owner was really helpful starting from detailed instructions about apartment and surroundings and finishing to calming down the neighbors.

The apartment was amazing. It had so much space and the toys for the children were a really nice touch.

The house is spacious. Maybe they give you too much warnings but obviously they had some bad experience with turists. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend booking.

“Modern Japanese style home”

Modern Japanese style townhouse. All facilities required for a family stay were made available. Our grandchildren loved playing with the toys in the upper mezzanine. The bathroom amenity bags were a nice touch. Playground next door!

Overall good

Very clean and tidy, with a fully equipped kitchen and coin-operated laundry machines, making it ideal for families. There is also free parking available. Entry with a code is very convenient. The house has three floors, and the children had a great time going up and down. Breakfast is not provided, but the well-equipped kitchen and large refrigerator make it easy to prepare your own meals. You can buy what you’d like to eat the night before at a convenience store and enjoy it the next day at the spacious dining table, accompanied by a pleasant view of greenery outside the window.

“Comfortable beds, good location, no couch”

Property is a short walk from the train station and in a quiet area, but with a few restaurants nearby. The beds were comfy and we appreciated having extra pillows and other extra bedding available. There is a bedroom on the ground floor, and then a 3rd floor loft for sleeping - perfect for us travelling with teenagers but if you have smaller children be aware. We didn’t really use the kitchen but it seemed fully stocked.
