We stayed in the room with a private onsan which was genuinely beautiful. The space, view and natural hot spring onsan made this hotel our favourite amongst all the hotels (all 5 star hotels) we stayed in during our holiday to Japan. The hotel offers half board (breakfast and dinner) of which is fine dining quality. The staff were wonderful and we would be very grateful to be able to visit again one day. A very special experience.

“Beautiful stay”

We loved our stay, the setting is homely and beautiful and the staff are incredible. We had a lovely tea on arrival then enjoyed our Japanese style room, you can book the private onsen on the day by writing on the board on the door, it is very easy and accessible. The beds were so comfortable and the place was very tranquil. Highly recommended :)

“A getaway into the mountains.”

This hotel offers great prices and very accommodating and spacious rooms. The service and hospitality are unmatched. The hosts try to ensure the guest is very comfortable and throughout my short stay of 2 days with a friend, I did feel very much at home. The onsens that are offered here can be booked 24/7 through reservation by using the board at the door of the onsen, there are two available ones: Hot and Lukewarm, as a foreigner I considered lukewarm to be ideal! While it is not directly connected to Gora, it's very easy to reach through Public Transit like the cable car which includes a bit of a walk and or a bus that also commutes there directly. I'll definitely be returning here whenever the opportunity presents itself! Thank you very much to the hosts for being so accommodating!

“Lovely stay in Hakone, at a very reasonable price.”

Owner was very helpful, and everything was very well prepared in advance for our stay. Although it was a shared bathroom, it was very well put together and clean. The room itself is very clean and well put together but not anything out of the ordinary. Very cosy.

“Wonderful Stay & Fantasia Service”

Staff is super friendly and helpful. The Japanese style room matched our expectation. The hot spring is a real hot spring. The breadfast is fantasia. You can't miss this & Highly recommended. You know the owner runs the hotel by his heart. Everything almost perfect.

Loved our stay here, the Japanese style room surpassed our expectations. Loved the screens and deck area. This was our first stay in a Japanese style room, and we loved it. The staff were wonderful and made us feel at home. We loved the Onsen and used it as much as possible. We definitely r3commend getting the Hakone Pass for use in this area.

Lovely little hotel

The staff was very friendly and the view from our balcony over the valley was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the Onsen! Would definitely stay here again.

The service and facilities were excellent. The staff, Phuong, was super nice and friendly. We really appreciate her care of us. She gave us welcome tea and a sweet, and even helped us to dry the shoes as we arrived at the hotel on a rainy day. My husband also received a surprised gift for his birthday. The hotel was very clean, and the shared - private onsen was really relaxing with mountain view. Our room was with mountain view too.

“Fantastic”

Staff are super friendly, it was my birthday and we arrived to my room decorated. Upon arrival we got to pick our robes and were greeted with tea and a sweet treat. Room is large and beds are comfortable Good distance to walk to and from the rope way station and there is a bus station right outside Onsens were nice and the toiletries provided fantastic

It was a good location, close to the station but not busy and it had beautiful views. The Onsen was available whenever I went to use it and it was so relaxing

Extremely attentive and helpful staff who did their best with a language barrier. Astounding mountain and ocean view, and a great private hot spring bath.

Nice staff, nice and clean rooms, private Onsen that can be booked for 45minutes per session. When booking classic Japanese style rooms they offer extra mattresses on request.

Bath was amazing. Beds very comfortable and staff were lovely.
