“A once in a lifetime experience”
Simply one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The design of the hotel was breathtaking. Onsens so special. We tried the private family bath too which was a great experience. All meals served by our lovely host who was so wonderful, generous & funny! We ordered shiatsu massages in our rooms, on mattress so we could just go to sleep afterwards and we did - blissful.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The staff were very friendly and explained everything clearly, and I even received a lovely photo keepsake in kimono. I booked an in-room shiatsu massage and acupuncture. Absolutely amazing. The traditional Japanese breakfast and the kaiseki dinner were truly exceptional, Michelin-level quality that exceeded my expectations. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer than one night. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Service was impeccable, staff were friendly and welcoming. They were very accommodating to our needs, providing a vegetarian meal and some last minute changes to meal times (we wanted to catch Mt Fuji!) I wouldn't hesitate to rebook or recommended to anyone.
