Lovely traditional holiday home in a very convenient location near Gora station -perfect for making use of Hakone Free Pass. House was well equipped , good quality tatami meant a good sleep and air conditioning worked well. Overall a great experience one I would strongly recommend.

The accommodation is a traditional Japanese style house, decorated with Ghibli characters. My daughter is a fan of Totoro, and she was extremely happy with our stay. The place is well located near the Gora station and has a small supermarket nearby.

“Highly recommend if staying in Gora!”
Incredibly charismatic property, especially of you are a big fan of Ghibli! Very clean and clear instructions when inside the property and very responsive communication from the owners. It rained a lot while we were here but was an incredibly cosy place so didn’t mind having an evening in. Great location with Gora station being very close too, Highly recommend

Very dusty in the house, also not sure the mattresses are washed after each guest? As we were 11 people we had to sleep in the living room as well, so lots of work taking mattresses out and back again.

Phenomenal place to stay in the center of Gora, this is a very nice choice for any larger group of Ghibli fans. The house has plenty of bilingual guidance and was overall easy to use. Highly recommended!
