Perfect for Kintoki Mountain Hikers! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overview & Accessibility: Ideal for Hikers: A fantastic choice if you are planning to hike Mount Kintoki. The location is incredibly convenient. Easy Trip from Tokyo: Simple commute—just take the train to Hakone Station, then a short bus ride. Quick Walk: The hotel is only a 5–8 minute walk from the bus stop. Room & Amenities: Spacious & Spotless: The rooms are very clean and much more spacious than typical Japanese hotel rooms. Fully Equipped: Comes with all necessary amenities and comfortable Yukatas for lounging. Climate Control: The air conditioning unit functions as both a cooler and a heater, so you can adjust the room temperature to your exact liking. Location & Neighborhood: Prime Spot: There are several convenience stores (Konbini) just a short walk away. Great Dining: Surrounded by many local restaurants, so finding a good meal is never an issue. The Highlight: Outstanding Service: Personalized Care: The hotel owner is truly wonderful. Upon check-in, they provided detailed explanations of local attractions and clear answers to all my travel questions. Heartwarming Touch: At check-out, I was touched to receive a thoughtful souvenir: a cloth and an origami crane folded from a pattern of my national flag. Such a kind and memorable gesture! Summary: A cozy, high-value, and welcoming hotel. If you are visiting Hakone, I highly recommend staying here!

“A comfortable room with friendly staff in a quiet location”
Friendly staff to greet us with lots of helpful information. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. The location was a few minutes walk from the bus which was not a problem and it was a 5 minute walk from most restaurants and close to a supermarket. Tea and coffee making facilities, no breakfast or meals on site. The town location was also good for walking up Mt Kintoki to see a great view of Mt Fuji. Also close to several museums and the lake.

Being in a quieter spot while still not being too far from shops or public transport was amazing, it really helped to slow down after big days around Hakone!

“Gorgeous place”
This was our favourite room of the entire trip. It was spacious, clean and super comfortable. It even had a closet with room for clothes. Loved the little table dining area with a view of the mountains. The host were very welcoming, kind and so helpful. I was wondering which would be the best route to start the Hakone loop and the host advice saved us time queuing on a busy long weekend. Take the S line bus to lake Ashi worked! Bonus, hosts speak English. Close to the Venetian glass museum which was terrific. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

“Hidden gem in Hakone!!”
A lovely escape from the hustle & bustle on our first trip navigating around Japan, google maps & a short walk from the bus stop (inclined walk) we easily found the resort, the location was in a quiet residential area with a few restaurants in walking distance ( as were convenience stores) Our welcome was the most personal & welcoming during our holiday, the owner was extremely warm & informative in helping us plan & make the best use of our time in Hakone. The resort I believe hosted approx 5 rooms, our room was modern, extremely clean, supplied with toiletries, refreshments which were replenished & were accessible in the corridor leading to our room. A welcome pack of information was in our room, referencing the local area, restaurants, history & things to do. On our early departure we were greeting by the owner again, checking all was ok & gifting us a Union Jack Sadako Bird & Mt Fuji souvenir which was so thoughtful & a small reminder of our wonderful stay in Hakone. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would recommend to anyone visiting Hakone

Nori, the host, was so kind and helpful. The location is a short 5 minute walk from bus stop 247 on T line, also close to A Coop food shop anf several good places to eat, especially Monte Cafe. Lovely little streets. The room I had very spacious. Plenty of room for more than 1 person. Bathroom had a very deep bath, good to soak in ! Hot water and water pressure great! View out window to mountain. Very comfortable beds. The area is peaceful. A good place to stay to explore Hakone. Get a Hakone Pass ( $75AUD for 3 days ) which covers bus, pirate sightseeing ship, ropeway, cable car . Go to Hakone open air museum.

“Wonderful stay Hakone heights.”
Fabulous hosts, providing everything you could need. Great room setup, lots of space, and a lovely sitting area. Microwave with plates, cutlery, and generous supply of tea and coffee are easy access in the hallway. Rooms are very well presented and exceptionally clean. Your hosts are very helpful and available for any questions. They offer great advice for the many sights of Hakone. There are a number of dining options and a COOP supermarket within walking distance from the hotel, as well as several bus stops for the many Hakone bus services. We loved our stay.
