Newly opening on 25 April 2015, Super conveniently located The GUEST HOUSE HAKODATE BAY will offer private and dormitory-style rooms and free WiFi in all areas. Public parking will be available at a daily fee. The guest house is only two minute’s walk from Shiyakushomae Station. Here, guests can request laundry services at a surcharge or freely use the shared kitchen and lounge areas. There are on-site drinks bending machines at Hakodate Bay Guesthouse. All rooms here have a heating system. Bathrooms and toilets are shared for most rooms. From the guest house, it is a 5- 10 minute walk to Mount Hakodate, Hakodate Bay area and JR Hakodate Station. Local restaurants are located within a 2-minute walk around the property. Hakodate Airport is a 20-minute drive away.

Owner was so kind. I had to change my arrival time to after midnight at the last minute and it wasnt a problem. Great location, convenient to the main station, dock area and the tram to goryokaku

“Well-located stay with lovely host”
The host was friendly and extremely hospitable. He happily gave me another room when I was uncomfortable with my assigned one. The location was close to the train station and if you are there during the Hakodate Port Festival, it passes right in front of the guesthouse; I could even see it from my window!

The location was perfect! Didn’t have to walk a lot from the Jr station with my huge backpack on which was nice. The dining room is quite nice and if people are there then it can be a nice room to connect in.

Pretty easy walk from Hakodate station. The host was really nice. I had a room to myself but I could see it getting cramped with suitcases if there were 3 other people but that’s what you get when you stay at a hostel.

The location is perfect, near station, restaurants, fish market. There is the light train stop close. The hostel is comfortable and the owner is very kind.

The hostel is located near JR station. There is a morning market near our super convenient hostel. The kitchen is open and really clean. The boss is really nice.
