“It was probably a great hotel in its day but now it seems old and shabby - at least my room was!”

I arrived earlier than the official check-in time. Personally, I thought they could have checked me in because the room was ready and the hotel was not busy. They wouldn't but at least they let me leave by bag there for which I am grateful.

Nice view

Furnishings and decor are a little dated, but the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. They upgraded me to a sea-view room for free - what a wonderful location, with views over the sea to Honshu. I worked remotely while there, the wifi was fast and reliable. It's around 10 mins walk from the nearest tram stop, and there's a great Italian restaurant 2 mins down the road. Also worth visiting Bop Jazz Bar, near the tram stop, for some impeccable jazz and good coffee.

“Decent but Could be Better!”

The location is amazing. There is a bus stop right in front. There is a Italian restaurant, a Sushi restaurant and a 7 Eleven within 5 minutes of walking. Walking to Hakodate Station takes around 20 minutes. Not to mention the view of the ocean. The staff were very friendly. Room service also did a pretty good job. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was good. The Hot cold water system was very good. You can adjust the temperature very minutely and it stays the same the whole time. Never did I get a splash of cold water during my many showers.

The room we booked is exactly what we expected enjoyed our space very much 😁

“Quaint & quiet seaside hotel”

Amazing sea views, very functional rooms, nice amenities in terms of microwave, vending machine etc. Very quiet generally. Staff very kind when they realised I dropped my JR pass and held it at the front desk for me. Really loved just propping the window open and staring out at the moonlit sea with a beer.

The location was perfect, we could look out of the window and see the sea really close. The room was comfortable and, compared to hotels of a similar price in Tokyo, quite spacious. It was well equipped with a kettle and fridge, and there was a little table and chairs too. We didn't need to communicate with the staff besides check in/out, which was fine with us not speaking Japanese.

Seafront, quiet, good size room for Japan, walking distance to town. Could open window and sleep with fresh air and sounds of the ocean.

The sea outside the hotel is just gorgeous. I went by myself on a birthday trip, and I really enjoyed it. The highlight of my visit was the staff, they were extremely kind. I highly recommend this hotel!!!
