“Great location + comfort, slightly outdated rooms”

Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! Would recommend for people who prefer to sleep on beds on the softer side. The location also really can't be beat, with the hotel placed right in front of a tram stop as opposed to surrounding hotels where you'd have to walk up for at least a few minutes. Very close to Hakodate station as well, which is ideal since I arrived via shinkansen.

Great view from my room. Excellent staff. Close to a convenience store. Free non-alcoholic drinks in the lobby.

“PERFECT STAY IN HAKODATE”

The room and the location of the hotel were amazing, i really liked the bed and the pillows. It's really important to feel comfortable with them.

I was very impressed by the Resol. Good price, great location by the station. I'd recommend looking into the one day tram pass if you're here to see the sights, as it would've saved us a few dollars. The room was huge but the best possible use of this space (separating the beds) was not made. All facilities were comfortable and luggage storage before check in was convenient. The free drink bar in the lobby was a nice touch but didn't make me want to hang around there as the coffee smell was very strong.

Staff were very helpful, our room was a twin room and a good size The hotel offered complimentary coffee and soft drinks in the lounge The location of the hotel was excellent near restaurants and bars The tram bus stop was just outside the hotel which was perfect for exploring the sights , we would stay again at this hotel

We booked our stay very last minute and staff were super helpful and friendly! Good sized room, good location, and we enjoyed a lovely drink at the bar as well. I would recommend this place!

Really good Hotel, only a few mins walk from Hakodate station and the Streetcar station is a few steps from the door so it's good to use to explore Hakodate. Staff were very helpful, bed was fine and room had plenty of space.

Very central, very comfortable bed (ie not too hard), surprisingly quiet even though it was on the tram route, and I love the original aroma that is used throughout this hotel and the other Resol hotels.

Large beds, free drinks, umbrellas at rain and parasols when sunshine (especially for the Asian guests). Very close to the train station

Maybe the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. I will forever remember it fondly.

Standard, clean hotel with everything we could need! Great location, close to the morning market as well as other restaurants and a less than 10min walk to main station.
