Budgetary In front of is the Keiba-jo-mae tram station and the opposite of is Hakodate Racecourse (JRA) where there has Illumination display at night during the time at 31/Mar/2026. Breakfast is good Parking is available even though you need to pay ￥500/Day Close to the 湯の川温泉足湯「湯巡り舞台」by taking tram to Yunokawa station and free to enjoy foot bath and Illumination. Staff is helpful.

“Value for money”

It is right next to the streetcar station. The room was clean and staff were helpful. We stayed one night and it was fine.

During my trip the building was during renovation, but it did not affect my stay. Many amenities available, microwave at the 1st floor, chopsticks free of charge. Hotel close to the tram stop. You can ask for iron at the reception desk if needed.

Staff seemed friendly and helpful, breakfast didn't have too many options but seemed almost a family meal (my Japanese wife liked it) and it saved us some bucks. Parking belonging to hotel was cheap (500 jpy at Aug 2025), amenities were easy to get, free to use coffee/soup machine (coffee was a bit weak, so if you like it thicker, you should choose these option - it's available in the machine but I didn't know at the moment). Clean place, 1 microwave per floor was interesting (once the hotel is relatively small compared to chain hotels).

“It was good value for money”

The choice at breakfast was enough and tasty. Value for money is very good. good location directly in front of the tram station. I could not hear the passing trains in the night. Happy that they had good shampoo and conditioner.

Breakfast and parking were nice .

“Easy access”

A little bit far from centre but easy access by public transport. Tram is right outside, bus is jusst 3 minute walk from the hotel.

Very good breakfast. Always has at least one staff to greet Good Morning to us (in Japanese of course).

Breakfast was nothing fancy, but it was good, usual Japanese cuisine. Bed was comfy ( we were staying two in single bed so it wasn't that bad as I expected ).

Excellent stay just few minutes outside the busy city life. Only thing was the carpark.. maybe I’m driving a SUV hence found it challenging to turn into the carpark 🤣 Otherwise the rooms and the food were perfect!!

“Recommended”

We had a great experience. The room was comfortable and has everything you could need. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was tasty! The only downside is that the hotel is pretty far from the city center, but the issue is easily solved since the tram stop is right in front of the building!

The staff can speak English and mandarin Easy to communicate and they are very helpful. Good listening skills and well in explanation My children came down late for breakfast They did not keep the food after the breakfast time. They just leave there for us
