Great location to be close to the station and all travel up and around the town. Also walking. A very clean hotel. We had a twin room that was spacious or comfortable and gave a good place to rest after a days activities

“Just great”
I liked everything - we just came to Hokkaido island from Honshu and this room was much bigger, more modern and cheaper than everything we had on Honshu. Clean, spacious and great value for the money. Exceeded expectations! Didn't try breakfast, so I don't have any comments regarding the food.

“Awesome place to stay in Hakodate, Japan.”
My room was a little palace in the APA hotel. It is located at a prime location near the train station in Hakodate. The washroom had a nice bathtub and was very clean. It has all the toiletries, like a hair comb, shaving eraser, toothbrush, toothpaste, body lotion, hair shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, ear cleaning sticks, earbuds, ponytail band, and more. I did not opt for breakfast. The place has a laundry service for 100 Yen.

Staff was the highlight, they went out of their way to help us. Thank you! Everything else really is just a standard convenient hotel in what felt like the tourist area - with its positives & negatives.

“Comfortable, Value for Money base to explore Hakodate”
Convenient location that was an easy walk from the JR train station - I managed with my suitcase in under 10 minutes. It's also off the main road by the seafood market which meant the street was quiet at night. Room was comfortable and actually slightly more spacious than the normal one in an APA hotel.

“Great location, great service”
It was near the tram and train station. Also near to the morning market and red brick warehouses. The room was clean and so wide.

“APA is as APA is - pick it so you know what you’re getting”
Everything was good and kinda as expected for a chain hotel - meets its standards etc etc. Room was perfect size for solo traveller and had a desk space (which is a win). Hard bed (which is my preference and shower was powerful.
