“Again for a one night over night it’s fine..”
If travelling through Haines Junction, before say heading to Haines Alaska, it’s a place to crash and get some rest. But you can drive all the way through to Haines do so. But it’s ok for an overnight sleep.

Don´t let the surroundings fool you. The room is spaciuos and very clean. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel is very good. For breakfast, do not miss the Village Bakery & Deli hidden away on the other side of the Alaska highway.

Coffee pot was filthy and I nearly cut myself when I tried to clean it because - the spout was broken off. They did replace it but the second one was also dirty. The worst was that someone’s used soap was still in the shower with what I will describe only as body hair. It’s a shame because the bathroom had been updated and none of that mattered because no one is taking care of it. The glass shower doors were streaked and tracks were grimy. Floor mats were stained and the towels were literally fraying. I asked for a blanket because I could not bring myself to sleep in the bed after the room was so obviously not cleaned between guests. I did not eat in the restaurant for obvious reasons.

“It is what it is. Live with it and move on.”
The motel is right on the Alcan highway, so there is no extra driving. There is a restaurant attached.
