“excellent place to say, great views of Haifa”

Excellent apartment for a short-to-moderate length stay in Haifa. I needed a particular location (walking distance to where friends live), and this was perfect from that point of view - but also the views from the street, if you walk between the houses, are stunning, as this is right over Haifa port and the bay (the windows themselves do not face the sea, but if you lean out, you see all the way to Akko). What was a very pleasant surprise is the state of the apartment - essentially newly redone, everything is shining, modern design - one might say not your typical rental apartment in Israel, much higher level than average, so really hats off to the owner. One isolated bedroom with a huge wardrobe and one king-size bed, one main room (a sofa, an enlargeable table and a couple of chairs), coupled with kitchenette outfitted with everything you can imagine - microwave, grill, two induction heaters, a dozen pots and pans of all sizes, large family-sized fridge, full set of knives-forks-corkscrews etc., plates-cups-glasses etc. A washing machine hides next to the sink (with a box with detergent under the sink), and outside of the window there are ropes to hang you washing on, with necessary protection from elements (top and front cover), the way this is normally done in Israel. There is also a drying rack you can use that stands outside of the apartment - but ropes are better as the stuff dries better outside (I was there in early spring, so a lot of rain, but still drying is better outside). There is also an air-conditioner. Toilet is large and has a douche cabin; there are nice towels, soaps, shampoos etc. HUGE TV in the main room for those who need that thing, and WiFi is available. Everything was clean and shiny. A supermarket is 5 mins walk away, bus stop the same (takes 20 mins to get to Merkaz HaShmona on a bus if there is no traffic). Top marks, will stay there again.
