The 1926 Apartments offers air-conditioned studios with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen satellite TV. The property is adjacent to the Carmelit underground funicular railway, and 5 minutes’ walk from the Port of Haifa. The studios include a seating area with sofa and a kitchenette with microwave and fridge. They have modern decor and most feature a balcony. There are 2 separate wings, one without an elevator and the other with, where the superior studios are located. Surrounded by cafés and pubs, the 1926 Designed Apartments are 500 metres from Haifa Center HaShmona Train Station. Rambam Hospital and the beach are a 5-minute drive away.

“Good value for money to explore Haifa nightlife”
We stayed at 1926 Designed ApartHotel for 3 nights. Overall, it was decent value for money and the location is excellent if you want to enjoy Haifa’s nightlife. The hotel is right in the centre of the bars and pubs area, so there is a very lively atmosphere at night. However, this also means it can be extremely crowded and noisy, with loud music, smoke, and people outside until late. We chose one of the larger rooms, which was spacious enough and comfortable for a short stay. The hotel itself is quite basic and modest though, and in our opinion it does not really match the “design hotel” description. There is also no elevator, so guests should be prepared for steep stairs.

“Relaxing and comfortable.”
The room was quiet and comfortable, well equipped with all the facilities. Especially liked the kitchenette, which included a small electric stove and a coffee pot, so we could make proper coffee in the morning. There is a microwave, a big refrigerator, an electric iron, a lot of power sockets. Two blankets, 6 pillows. Air condition, TV, WiFi, bathroom, everything functioned well. Location is perfect, on a pedestrian street, a couple of minutes walk to the Carmelit subway, less than 10 min to the railway station. A lot of cafes and other stores nearby. The owner contacted me before arrival, and made sure it was easy to find the hotel.

great location in the lower city, close to Paris square, central station. good restaurants, bars and everything you need you can find nearby. Great owner, attentive and caring. I'll be glad to come back Please note - there is no elevator, but the simple steps and rooms are worth it

“Perfect choice”
100% clean and tidy. Double windows ensures warm (we were on February) and silence. Easy to find. Many cafes arround were working even on Shabat. I would definately return here again.

“Amazing and cost-effective”
The location is absolutely amazing and yet so quiet, even when outside was noisy. The place was clean and decorated well. The wi-fi was strong, there was no problem with a/c or hot water, and the windows had blackout curtains, which is always a plus.

“Perfect location! Friendly owner. It has everything you need”
Perfect location! The proprietor is very organized, with good communications before and during my trip. The room was pleasant and had everything I needed. The block is filled with cool bars and restaurants, but the windows blocked the sound at night.

“Cool, arty place.”
This is an artistic, funky hotel in the heart of Haifa’s arty cafe/bar area. My room had a view overlooking the action; great for people watching. Friendly check in.
